Winter in the Rockies - Tomorrow

Doesn’t bother me much. I have all of the stuff I need to function in the winter cold, snow, idiot drivers.

I’m usually the odd one out, but…my favorite season is winter, and I miss snow terribly.

First fall showers this morning, and I expected idiot drivers suffering from temporary amnesia, forgetting how to driver. Thankfully, traffic was smooth. They must have decided to stay home.

Winter comes every year, the higher your altitude the earlier it arrives. Yet people always seem to be shocked when it happens. Go Figure!

Snow yes!

Especially the big fluffy stuff when there’s no wind and it’s coming down heavy and everything goes silent.

My thing is, I can always layer up and stay warm,…

But I can only get sooo naked in the heat! (Nobody wants that!)

@Mike164

You can send that this way! 81* today.

Only dropping into the 70s when that cold front moved into the front range.

We’ve normally had our first snow by now, but haven’t even seen our first 30 degree low yet!

Edit, forgot to @ the OP and not sure how to delete above post….

OMG, the visuals! Did you really need to go there, lol. :joy::joy::joy::joy:
I kid, I kid.
That’s why I love swimming pools. Get an inflatable raft, some water resistant sun lotion, a cold drink (no beer disagrees with the meds) roll off into the water when needed. Only thing, pools can be a beotch to maintain. I’m surrounded by trees and hate skimming them out of the water.

Edit: by them I mean leaves and sticks that the trees drop all too often.
