Where Do You Get Your News?

Anyone who thinks about what they see on the mainstream media knows that there’s an agenda (and it’s obvious), which leads to biased reporting and continual lies to uphold “the narrative.” Even Fox has gotten really bad about that.

My question for you all is, where do you get your news? Sources could include a news outlet, talk show or radio you listen to, YouTube channel, etc. I’m mostly interested in sources that actually report what’s going on — not places that just parrot the political rhetoric.

There’s already a post for this, but i’ve been happy with https://www.youtube.com/@TheNationalDesk/featured

CNN/Fox/CBS/NBC/etc. are all lunatics.

I just joined. Yes, you have to pay. :slightly_smiling_face:

Tucker Carlson Network

Tucker has some interesting conversations, but news it isn’t! lol The whole lot of them is pretty similar. Candace Owens. Megyn Kelly. Brian Kilmeade is terrible.

It’s getting more difficult to find “reliable sources,”

Not any of the alphabet soup networks.

Rightly or wrongly, I pretty much get mine from X (formerly Twitter).

I like the exchange of views so I could make up my mind as to who’s telling the truth.
For example, Elon Musk posting something and then getting responses from the left.
Or, someone from the left like Anna Navarro getting a rebuttal from Nick Searcy.

Good to know.

That seems to be part of the problem these days.
You can watch who you want, just use your own brain.

I’ve been watching YT channels on topics of interest to me. I find these people care more about what is really happening than the lame stream reporting.

I used to be a Fox fan but they are getting no better than the others. It’s like all their skeletons have been found and are now being used on them.

Sky News in Australia, used to use the BBC (the Been). A variety of left and right outlets and YouTube

I watch Newsmax. They lean right and like Republicans but will call them out if they get too far into the weeds. So far, they seem to stay close to the truth and let you decide if you’re hearing the truth or if your BS antennae is twitching.

I’ve tried Newsmax a few times, but they seem like Fox Jr. to me. I watch them a bit, but centrist? I’m not sure about that.

I wish that they would all get rated again like a few years back. You guys have all seen this one:

This chart needs an update. The BBC isn’t center anymore but are going left fast, Newsweek center is a huge joke too. Your opinions may vary. Along with most outlets listed there are in the wrong category IMO. I don’t think there is news only outlet anymore. They all have to toss in their opinions and it all becomes a game of whose opinion aligns with mine.

Daily Wire (Ben Shapiro)

PJ Media (mostly) but their affiliates at times like Twitchy, Red State.

The Blaze

And since those sites aren’t usually the best with breaking news, I do have ABC News bookmarked.

I do all of this online. My TV has barely been turned on a month.

I mostly read news. Anything that I watch that is over 3 minutes long is for fun and not to get the news.

I would add Real Americas Voice (RAV) to the hard right list. Very helpful list @Brad .

I was always told to believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see. Heck IDK where I get my news from I guess I just pick up on it.

Not the Alphabet Cesspool networks.

Fox started doing news? They’re the same as NBC/CNN, just on the other side.
