What's the best way to carry on the way to work in car!

Optimally IMO the exact same way you carry it the rest of the day/at work

I recommend hopping over to Mountain Man Medicine and watching their training videos, both as new or refresher training and to help answer your question.
Then, look at the detailed contents of their several pre-packed trauma medicine kits, to include IFAK, basic, and range kits. That will give you the full list of possibly valuable items for your custom kit. Or, you might just decide to buy one of theirs already assembled.

Finally, a reminder for everyone on this thread: when you get your tourniquets, do NOT carry them in their original sealed packages. Open them up, refold, and stage them as shown in the videos on the MM site.

Why carry at all if you don’t carry at work? Do criminals know its hands off when someone is at work? Carry concealed on you. Know one will know because, well, it’s concealed. It will always be like that unless the need arises to protect yourself or someone else. At that point who cares if they now know you’re armed?! You may be looking for another job after a self defense shooting but you will be alive while looking.

Totally agree. What if the car gets stolen. In the restaurant world it’s usually always loose pants, cargos, dickies. Maybe invest in a small pocket gun and use that for your edc. There’s a couple good options that aren’t much bigger than a wallet. I’d be nervous leaving a gun in a car.

I understand I’m going to have to get more practice at home. And going out trying different positions including sitting in my car with appendix carry me to get comfortable

Funny enough on my way to the USCCA Expo I meant to make a stop before Illinois because I traveled from Ohio through Indiana, Illinois, to get to Wisconsin, and I took the turnpike, there was signs saying Leaving Ohio, entering Indiana, but I didn’t know I left Indiana until I ran straight through Chicago…. Whole trip had no place to stop.

I’m looking into 5.11 pants right now

What are the best pants u can wear for iwb holster! I use a kore essentials belt? I need some great options please and thank you  happy Sunday funday

I think most of the time a cheapo will do. As my dad used to say: the only thing a lock does is to keep an honest man honest. A determined criminal will find a way to do what he wants.

I just got some 5.11 STRYKE® pants I figure that’ll help since I only wear 2 pocket Chef pants!

I just go up a size in pants and I usually just wear regular jeans and use a NEXbelt.

@Everette1 Agree with @Craig_AR and others here. I have a Vaultek Lifepod…

https://vaulteksafe.com/products/vaultek-view-all-lifepod-series/lifepod/

Comes in different sizes, water resistant, floats. Has electronics to put in a simple 5 digit code of your making but also has a key if necessary. Attached by a cable to my car in the trunk. I keep the trunk messy enough and with a towel over it so no one would guess. If I am not going to carry but want to bring it along or have to take it off and lock it up, this is how I do it. I’m cautious about making sure no one sees. If I’m fumbling around in my trunk, no ones wonders. If anyone ever asks why I have a safe in my car, my plan is to say I lock up my wallet/valuables when I shop. But no one has asked.

Noted :slightly_smiling_face:

Man, I can’t even mention politics to some of these people at work. I think we need Donald Trump back. He never started a war. I support Marjorie Taylor Greene :100:

I don’t think any politician can make a big enough difference. I think the most powerful tool in this great republic is mass noncompliance backed by a solid constitutional foundation. No conservatives or liberals. Just the constitution. If you think about it, it’s the most powerful politician in itself. If we’re staying true to the design.

Yes, for sure you are correct. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you very much. We certainly need to keep the Constitution alive.
