From the article:
““So, we are simply saying 18 instead of 21. We want to be mindful that when you’re 18, you can sign up to serve in the military, and we treat — under the law — 18-year-olds as adults in many other instances.””
I am responding as a man who has six son’s and years of teaching teens: 1) I was drafted at 18. I respect authority and guns. I would lower the age of carry to 18 only if the person has served in the military and has ben trained. Too many pampered child 18 year olds are roaming our streets these days. TRAIN before Licensing. Not just a CC class.
The key point to me is: LANDLORDS HAVE NO RIGHT TOO RESTRICT YOUR RIGHTS IN YOUR APARTMENT.
Sorry not a concern of just age. Training past the Conceal Carry training would be a must to me. Too many gun stores are just handing out classes to increase revenue. Training is weak.
The landowner / building owner does have the right to prohibit people from moving in for any reason he/she/it chooses, but it MUST BE DISCUSSED prior to the tenant moving in. They cannot say after the fact a tenant would have to move because the tenant has a weapon.

Simple solution is to treat that apartment or condo just like a store that does not allow anyone to carry. Go somewhere else.
Well, let’s see now, seems like the illegal gangs that have crossed our borders, fit the age group “Tren De Aragua” and have taken over apartments, with visible, open carry weapons, and looking very well trained, no Licensing required!
