I don’t think I personally could ever suggest one way or another, but instead suggest one study the concept thoroughly. I think sometimes it comes down to personal preference, needs, and the situation, almost like on a needs scale, low, medium, high.
I think underlying issues one thinks about is safety from having and accident Vs safety for when lethal defense is called for and being on that level of on the ready. Weighing both.
Perhaps other considerations/options might include training, revolvers, accuracy comparisons, models/calibers, or semi auto’s with thumb safety levers. Great question!
