Weekly Thought Bubble - EDC in the Summer

How do you adjust your EDC in summer months? Holsters, clothing, printing issues?

I change nothing. Still a Glock 48 MOS with a RDS in a Kydex AIWB holster. Doesn’t print even with just a light t-shirt over it.

Same here, Shield subcompact 0.95” width all year, IWB

I will probably feel the difference when I switch to the HK VP9SK 1.31”

No changes here either

I stop wearing a jacket or hoodie?

In the winter I tuck my shirt in and cover with a coat or jacket, in the summer I ditch the coat and cover by untucking my shirt.

Nothing changes..M&P Shield w/TLR6 IWB in an OnYour6 holster. Only variable is if I carry one two or three spare mags

I stopped wearing a jacket or hoodie back in January. Texas. :man_shrugging: Other than that there is no change.

On a side note, the coat I wear in winter (when it is cold enough to wear) has pockets big enough to drop my 92A1 in and still have lots of room for my hands.

I love that about hoodies’ kangaroo pouches when I can give my belt a break.

I do wear hoodies with kangaroo pouches from time to time, but I don’t carry my EDC there. As heavy as it is the hoodie would hang to my knees.

I see.
The entire time my hands are holding the holstered gun. The pouch has a cutout inside so I could carry IWB when I need to free both hands.

You may feel a weight difference.

In the summertime I switch to an IWB desert eagle .44 under a tight t-shirt

I dont change things up too much.its either my G43 or shield 9 AIWB.

If i wear shorts with no belt, i use a waist band holster. Dont wear shorts too often.

I dont have a dad bod so limited…

Pretty sure that was sarcasm.

So do you think if I sport some JNCO jeans I could conceal carry my .50?

Self-created or premade cutout? I like that idea.
