When I took my CC Class the instructor stood up in front of the class and said, “If you take anything away from this class take This, We Protect Lives not Stuff…”. I’ll bet he said it 10 times in the 3 hours we were around this guy.
You can always go to the store and buy more stuff, bodies are always on back order
Gotta start non lethal when protecting stuff…..
Then if the idiot does something stupid like pulling a weapon,….. THEN kill them!

Mr Hagaman should have used a better lock to protect his bike ![]()
Looks like he won’t be able to drive any bike for a long time…. if not at all
… since about 1985. Before that, fleeing felons were still “allowed” to be shot.
I don’t want to order more felons, we have enough. Thanks. ![]()
I HAVE to go with the group here 100% hands down! ‘It’s a Bike, Car, Planter box!’ as much as it hurts to see your stuff running, riding, being broken getting away…
Correct-a-mundo! It’s just stuff. And so this failed attempt to prove what a man Mr.Hagaman was (HE WASN’T he was a Goof!) He will have a LONG TIME BEHIND BARS to contemplate the errors of his way’s.
FOR THE NEWBIE’S HERE: HOW NOT TO PROTECT YOURSELF 101.
If a thief, Burglar, Vandal is running away—YOU DON’T SHOOT. IF they are UNARMED–you don’t shoot!. If an Axxhole or multiple axxholes are banging on the door threatening to kill you (Take it seriously BUT YOU DON’T SHOOT THROUGH THE door. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERY ROUND IN YOUR FIREARM!, If that round goes through a neighbors house and kills the (5) year old you can be charged w/ Murder, Manslaughter, GBH: Great Bodily Harm (resulting in Death) etc… If they break through the thresh hold and you fear for your life (it would help if they have a butter knife or Bats or Lug wrench PROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND YOURSELF as your State laws allow. Does your State have the ‘Castle Doctrine?’ or ‘Stand yer Ground Laws?’ (It would be prudent to call 911 as the assault begins (on tape) documenting the HOME INVASION, giving the sounds and Violence to the dispatcher, hearing you proclaim ‘I CALLED THE POLICE’ ‘I HAVE A GUN!’, (they’ll be here in 3-4 hours!).. don’t say that not funny.
I’m getting off Topic— If your life is NOT in danger—you don’t shoot! This isn’t a ‘suggestion’ this is the Law. shooting a fleeing Felon (say that 3 times fast huh?) in the back IS PROLLY a jail sentence–not only that but you open the door to a mess of BSH! (Bad Sh!t Happens), Law Suits, Civil Suits from the skell thief’s family. Then the Law descends on your head. Jail, Job Loss, A Criminal record, etc. All because they didn’t read the local/states laws. Buying a Gun is great, being ignorant without training and at least minimal research of the Law is Stoopid. There are tons of video’s, online chats, Podcasts that can help get the ball rolling. Take @ least that one CCW class—you’ll get into it hopefully and want more training. Learn a few Non Lethal methods to self D so you don’t solely rely on the firearm.
I’ll stop here. The guy’s will fill in the rest.

Not to ruin the topic but here it is.
I had my car stolen. It was 1982 and it was my first car. My dad figured if I wanted him to buy me a car, he would get one I had to fix. I got it running but if you drove over 35 mph it would vibrate like crazy. The faster you go the worse it got. I had it running as I ran into the store really quick, and I came out to see my car taking off. Once he got on the road and went to take off, he found out about the car, and they left it on the side of the road about two blocks away still running. I often thought if someone stole this car that they had to be very desperate. Who would want to steal a Rambler?
lol! I had a Jeep Cherokee that was like that! I had just got it running after years of being derelict…… still a TON of work that needed to be done to make it run correctly.
Thieves broke the wing window, shattered the steeering column, and limped it about a mile before abandoning it on the side of the road! ![]()

Once I got it back and running right it was a great little truck!
A battery disconnecter thwarted two more theft attempts.
Not sure why they wanted that POS soo badly as to try and steal it 3 times.
