CT used to be a GREAT state when I first moved there over 40 years ago. Wonderful people, gun friendly, including full auto. Basically the whole state was a rural and suburban paradise.
Then New York and Massachusetts grew together and swallowed the whole state and created the elitist liberal shithole it is today.

Yup. I was born there 1959, Waterbury in fact. Spent my youth in Terryville, then moved back at 35. I recall buying 50 round boxes of .22lr at the Western Auto at around 10-11 years old, then heading into the woods to shoot cans with the neighborhood kids. Making my move, I did around a dozen trips back and forth to WV. Out of the twelve trips, one didn’t have a traffic jam in Danbury. I started to hate the drive back.
