Completely agree. There was no reason for him to attack the guy in the first place let alone then go get a gun and return to threaten him with it. But his wife likely had little to no idea what had actually gone on in the store let alone what was about to happen.
I can’t see my wife ever doing anything remotely like what this guy did. But if she came out of a store, grabbed a defensive tool from the car and went back in I would likely be following her ready for trouble and wondering what the heck was going on. It would suck if I later learned that she had gone completely and criminally crazy and I also got arrested for trying to protect her when I didn’t yet realize she was the one that had started the whole incident.
Though in my defense I can honestly claim that I have no reason to believe my wife would ever assault someone. Not sure if this women can make the same claim about her clearly violent and easily triggered husband.
