This is the problem there is never any law enforcement there and in these cities there not aloud to do anything
He did try to drive away after they stated trying to pull him out of the vehicle, they chased him down causing him to crash then pulled him out and was hitting him with batons to force him on the ground before the final attacks to the head.
I’m posting this here because it directly applies to riots and self defense but the thing I want to point out is if faced with the threat of death or serious bodily injury you absolutely have the right to meet that threat with an equal or greater level of violence. This doesn’t mean you have to enjoy it or look for it however we should absolutely prepare and plan for this kind of encounter.
He was going to release the full video this morning at 9 AM
I would drive away safely if I could even if it meant running through red lights. That can always be straightened out in a courtroom later. It’s far better to risk a traffic infraction than risking getting beaten up, shot or stabbed in an altercation when it isn’t even necessary. This guy could have avoided this whole situation entirely by choosing not to even drive in that part of town. He could left his windows completely rolled up and his doors locked.
I would have only presented my weapon and be prepared to use it in a situation like that if they were armed with weapons capable of breaking the windows such as baseball bats, rocks, or bricks. If you have a bunch of people surrounding your car and your windows are broken there’s not much you can do to keep yourself safe if they are intent on inflicting serious bodily injury or death. A person could go as far as making a scene using their car horn but in this situation I doubt it would have done much good.
An update on latest Federal LE activities in one operation:
Having highlighted what Federal LE has been doing, we still can’t let down our guard on our personal protection. The attitude “We have LE to protect us…” is one of the reasons we are where we are. We have a personal responsibility to maintain situational awareness to avoid hotspots, to make sound decisions before interacting with these raging lunatics. I’m not going to look for trouble or get kicked to the curb when trouble shows up on my door-step.
I am surprised that there has not been a shooting yet with a person with CCP. Maybe it just means that we are smart enough to stay out of those areas.
I saw the guy on FOX:
I haven’t taken the time to see what the gun laws are in Portland but Oregon ranks 33rd best…that’s 8 BELOW the halfway mark of 25.
If I’m that trucker…I do what it takes to get my CCW!!!
Trump campaign would be smart to use this image as The Face of So Called Peaceful Protest
The reason it keeps going on is the police don’t do anything to stop it they stand there and let them shoot fire works, throw frozen bottles of water and bricks at them it seems to me like they would have justification to defend themselves
Welcome to the community @Brett22! You are right. There is justification, however, most are being told to stand down. I know for a fact that has been the case here in Louisville. We are hoping to see better today with threats of a large group shutting down the city.
I live around Shelbyville. I just meant that being able to attack police with no consequences why would they fear attacking citizens. I know it is not the police officers choice they are being ordered to not respond. Thanks for the welcome I am glad I joined

Avoid these riot areas as much as possible. Avoid conflict as best as you can. However, if for some reason I found myself surrounded by a mob of losers, I would have to try to not hurt anyone. Typically in these situations, it seems that your car windows will be smashed and you will be dragged out. I say deadly force must be used. You don’t know what they plan to do to you, like a kick in the head, or beating you harshly. If it means flooring it or using a firearm to save your loved ones in the car and yourself, then so be it.
Parents, if you have kids “peacefully” protesting you might want to reel them back in now. If you care about them at all, call them home. If you don’t know where your kids are at night now it is the time to find out. Just because they meet little resistance from police doesn’t mean they can act out violently. Kids killing kids last night in Kenosha. Participation awards are now being handed out.
I’ll be adding 3m 8mil security film to my car side windows this week. Takes a direct sledge hammer to break it. Good stuff.

Unless you are unfortunate enough to have to live in Portland or Seattle, where a simple trip to the grocery can put you in harms way and if you are wearing any resemblance of an American flag you become a target whos “just asking for trouble”. 13 out of 20 protesters arrested are public school teachers, let that sink in
There you go!
