USCCA Give away

Hey who all has or knows someone who has actually won the daily drawing? And are you happy with what you won?

You win a check and can buy what you want. This has been discussed ad nauseam.

Hey Brad. That is a great answer. Maybe try not to assume everyone has been visiting this site for quite a while. The attitude doesn’t do new members much good.

Hey Daniel! Welcome. Sorry. Forums are funny. They’re 99.999% garbage
mostly because people don’t search before they post (so we get many copies of the same data, making searches even harder). For those of us who spend a LOT of time on them of various topics
it would be better if folks searched first. One guys’ $.02
certainly worth less!

Many many moons ago I received a gift card to Palmetto State Armory for $720. I believe which must have been equal to the gun giveaway for that day. I have no idea which gun but $720 is $720!

I guess nowadays they send checks. I still log in every day because sometimes lightning does strike twice!

How do they contact you? by email or on their site when you log in daily or Both?

A few years ago I won.
I got a 500+ dollar payment.
That said, I know people who’ve been members for years and have never won.

I’d guess that nowhere near every member (near 800k) signs in everyday to be entered into the drawing.
USCCA gives away AT LEAST 1 gun a day (some days multiple).
If you do the math, every member (on average) should win one every few years.

I personally don’t believe a lot of non-members sign up to skew those odds.

I’ve wondered the same thing, but still log in daily. Good to know that you don’t actually win the firearm, just a check equal to the value. And thanks for asking the question!

I won the daily drawing early last year. Yes, you get a check, not the actual weapon.

I actually wondered about that part. I know that is what the ‘Perks’ web page says. But if you dig into the ‘official rules’, it doesn’t say that just logging in makes you eligible. It does list other ways, like making a store purchase or sending an entry in via mail. So I wasn’t really sure what exactly qualified as an entry into the contest.

I won, and I received a check that more then enough paid for a nice firearm of my choice.
I have been a member for a number of years, and have never regretted my decision to join.

I’ve briefly told this story before but it’s a good one.

So with times changing my hubs convinced me that we needed a firearm for protection. We purchased one and he joined USCCA. Then I joined USCCA. Then he decided that he wanted to become an instructor. (Raised in Michigan he has a lifetime of experience.). Then he kept prodding me to take the instructor course. (My guess is that he just wanted me to be in charge of the paperwork) So on New Years Day 2024 I was standing in my kitchen and said to myself
" fine, if the money lands in my lap then I’ll take the stupid course". The next morning, January 2, 2024 I got an email from USCCA saying “Congratulations! You’ve won our gun a day givaway. We’re sending you a check.” I called customer support to make sure it was real and it was. So I took the course, passed it and we have just been accepted as Official Partners with USCCA. Yup, paperwork, computer work, marketing work, LLC, EIN, etc. Be careful what you ask for. In this case it’s a good thing. (Except for the paperwork)

All my husband does is log me in and himself and when he got the notice I said it was a scam but called Delta Defense and we were told that it was not a scam and how much he was going too get

You’ll get an email. You will be asked to go to a secure website to complete and sign the IRS paperwork. Once that is completed, you will be mailed a check.
