Does USCCA coverage end at the original conviction? Or will they cover post-conviction Appeals?

For a covered act of self defense, there is the potential for coverage of appeals (by the Universal Fire and Casualty Insurance Company aka UFCIC).
The definition of conviction within the policy on which members are additional insureds is “final non appealable conviction”.
