US bombs three Iran nuclear sites, entering war

Not that hard. IAEA inspectors found concerning amounts of near weapons grade Uranium. All these years of negotiations were just meant to give mullahs more time to make bombs. They counted on world inaction, and then they would be invincible within a few month.

Now that IDF decimated their air defences and command chain (once in a lifetime chance), the window of opportunity opened for US kinetic action. Suppose we waited until the last last moment, who knows if China and Russia would not by then rebuild Iran’s air defenses, and they could fire at B2s for effect.

Technically the sites that were hit were facilities that produced or were capable of producing fissile material that would be used for creating nuclear warheads.

So did they have nuclear weapons? No, not yet.

Were they working on making them? Almost certainly!

It’s a good day in America when nuclear facilities of a nation that chants,

ā€œDeath to America!ā€

gets bombed to ruins.

Note the tone of Trump’s speech.
It won’t be a forever war.

Ball is in Iran’s court. How they react will determine future actions.

I do not see Russia backing Iran, Putin doesn’t back losers, it would make him look weak.

ā€œThe enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue,ā€ Dmitry Medvedev, now the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, said in a Sunday X post.

Now, we can say it outright, about Iran’s intentions.
There’s no point in waiting for a justification to bomb Iran.

I have no doubt that a window was opened. That’s not what I am concerned about. I’m saying Iran has been pursuing WMD and nuclear/atomic energy since the 1950’s. Iran has been ā€œon the cuspā€ of making nuclear weapons for almost 20 years it seems.

My concern with this is twofold.

  1. They are closely allied and/or cooperating with 3 Nuclear powers. All of whom are very likely surprised by this sudden escalation. I think there is a very good chance that one of their allies (China, Russia, or North Korea) may fast track them now into nuclear capabilities. Or they may even get drawn into this. That’s the scary part.

I’ve long been a proponent of bombing the Middle East flat, throw down some asphalt, turn it into a parking lot , slap a McDonald’s and Disney World down in the middle of it and call it a day.

I just want us (our leaders) to make sure we aren’t putting our men and women into harms way with no real plan or goal

Hopefully their is a Strategy and, and a goal

Russia has offered Iran defense systems, but they said NO. They are allies but like the U.S. and Canada, they would not be pervy of the idea of our military up in their business.

The Constitution is a grant of limited powers TO the fedl gov BY the States. If it is NOT in there, there is no authority granted. The several States each have their own Constitutions. I have not read all 50…

Article I, Section 8
To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;-And

I have to admit that interrupting the America hating Moollah dream of blowing us up by inserting a twenty one foot long 30,000 lbs GBU57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator suppository without prior lubrication has a poetic, dare I say, sexual ring to it.

Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?

I’d say the goal is pretty obvious, a non nuclear Iran. Hard stop!

That said, the strikes were telegraphed, and Iran had the opportunity to move fissile materials out of the targeted sites.

Now in my opinion, it’s back to the Israelis to sweep up those with that fissile material and target the engineers who may be able to use it to create any kind of weapon.

The strategy and the goal is to stop the threat by bombing Irans nuclear facilities. We are waiting to see if Iran is still a threat.

They are trying to make you afraid. I wouldn’t be afraid of the what ifs. There are too many. We can only do the best we can. Stay frosty. G-d bless.
