US bombs three Iran nuclear sites, entering war

But prudent, if you have a business need for being there.

I’m not knowledgeable on global events. However, I also suspect if a country has nuclear weapons, demonstrates violence against other countries, their neighbor, speaks loudly of hate, even against the U.S., then that can be a real threat.

How can one listen to criticism from an opposing political party in opposition of a decision, when they ā€œwear their biased politics on their sleeveā€?

The time for mainstream non partisan/independent stances might have come, or at least have a role.

If Trump was Democrat he would have done the same thing he just did. This is about being a patriotic American, not about being a Republican or Democrat. MAGA.

this is old! Got made way back… is it appropriate at this time?

Indeed. We get that.

I worry there is a party out there already spinning it, trying to use it for political gain and for the next voting elections. But we know the topic is far more serious and complex than that. Based on doing the right thing, ethical decision making, and long term safety.

Humbly speaking, as a country, it’s good to have friends, give and take, negotiate, whereas taking an angry stance as a country - ā€œmaybe not so goodā€; Like that simple old saying, ā€œyou can catch more bees with honey than with vinegarā€. JIMHO.

But you kinda made me think, I hardly see Trump talk about Republican partisanship. He has other messages, some of course come off as his very own. He uses other phrases. Could it be, he is more independent than we think. I admit, I had always hoped for some independent candidate in leadership.

One concern I do have is I read that there is a Federal Bill proposing selling off federal forest land to add monies to our economy. I agree we need the cash, but please, do not sell our public land. There is great value in its beauty for us and wildlife to enjoy, and unique to the U.S. I digress. Apologies.

I agree 100% … but as usually, both Dems and Reps fighting against Trump.

I forgive you, no apology necessary. I am a hunter. I know how important our public land is. I should have included independent in there with republican and Democrat, sorry. The important thing is to be a patriotic American with American values.

IMHO Trump just showed the world he is a man of his word and of action. He also showed he doesn’t want war but will use force if needed. Respect through strength and fear.

Nowhere in the Constitution is the fedl gov allowed to have ā€œforest landā€. The land should be given back to the State it was took from…

Where in the constitution does it say that the federal government is not allowed to own forest land? Where in the constitution does it say the state is allowed to own forest land for that matter?

For all of the group per se.

I’m really not ā€œup onā€ current events or history, but elsewhere, someone said there was no evidence that Iran had nuclear weapons.

Did they or do they have nuclear weapons, or were the 3-4 areas destroyed yesterday ā€œfactoriesā€ capable of making nuclear weapons (WMD’s)?

Thank you.

No they did/do not have nuclear weapons. If they had nuclear weapons they would have used them. We had to bomb them because they were in the process of making nuclear weapons and would not stop making them. That is why they were stopped.

Kind of hard to prove they were making nukes if you blew up the facilities that were making them. Either way, cannot make them now.

She holds a position in office ONLY to control and speak AGAINST anything that pertains Constitutional. EVERYTHING to her is Unconstitutional, does not care about American values nor the importance of United States of America’s Constitution, The Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. Furthermore, does she even know United states History? The taking of the Oath to PROTECT the Constitution of the United States of American? SHE IS NOT A FULL AMERICAN, nor living here as a FULL AMERICAN. Our American President had to do a job and DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE! And all she can do is :sob: :sob: :sob: These are not the kind of people we need in our AMERICAN GOVERNMENT! Countries that call out ā€œDeath to Americaā€ or order ā€œJihadā€ is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!! :index_pointing_at_the_viewer: TAKE THAT TO CONGRESS FOR APPROVAL!!!

I’m going to look at all of this with a fair amount of skepticism. We’ve been dog whistled into a 20 year war with the WMD claims. I find it very difficult to believe that Iran was on the verge of a breakthrough that required them to be bombed right now or else.

Iran is allied with Russia, China both of which are nuclear powers and cooperates with North Korea a nascent Nuclear power. Say we have crippled Irans nuclear capability, what’s the over/under on them pushing for nuclear weapons from their nuclear capable allies. All of which have seen this massive escalation by the U.S. and may not be adverse to seeing Iran bloody the U.S./Israel alliance.

My prayers are going to be with the men and women of our allied military forces. As they are the ones who will have to enact this new aggressive shift in confronting Iran.

Yes, I know a nuclear Iran is a bad thing. But the idea that we had to rock them and do it right now or else. It is a bit of a stretch. Iran has been chasing nuclear weapons for decades.
