From the Republican:
“I don’t think Utahns nor Americans in general want to be on that kind of a list. I cannot see anybody that would be in favor of that,” he said.
From the Democrat:
Briscoe emphasized he does not have an issue with people owning guns, but having such information could be helpful to deter crime.
“…Is this bill going to prevent us from gathering information that could help law enforcement in the future?”
Now you understand why all the old folks kept silver/gold coins hidden around the house. Gold and silver bullion in an individual’s hands is harder to take than when using an electronic device.
“Legislation” has never stopped anyone from doing anything. Another meaningless paper chase. Finance companies will do whatever the Federal regulators tell them to do.
But Larry, What do you need money for anyway?
The .gov will take care of everything
.Gov block cheese, Saw dust Bread (only one flavor–knotty Pine)
You don’t need Walmart anymore–We will make the choice for you.
‘‘Trust me I’m from the .gov and I’m here to help YOU!’’
