Trump trolling

Sure, Sheinbaum is scared of those tariffs.

But, we’ll see.

So far, it’s just politicians talking, as usual.

It doesn’t seem doable at all. I mean, all those tons and tons of drugs Americans do on a daily basis
Wow! You mean all that is just going to stop of a sudden?!

Far-fetched, at best.

Americans love their drugs! Where will they get them?!

Looks like after America goes on the illegal Mexican drug wagon and get clean and dry and sober involuntarily – they will call Trump and Sheinbaum to hurry up and reopen the border!

Actually Trump 1.0 spent a great deal of his time on the golf course.

My father was one of the best. Wish he was still around so I could point him out to my son and say - this is how real men are supposed to behave.

Trump 1.0 Put my son’s future at extreme risk with his experimental untested vaccine and 8 trillion in additional debt in just 4 years to add to the now $36 trillion we now all owe. Not counting the $200+++ Trillion in future unfunded liabilities.

I pray all the Trump worshipers can prove me wrong but I am judging him and all the other kleptocrats on the Right and Left in DC by their actions not their words and empty promises.

Right now what I see is the divide and conquer manipulators succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.

If true, which it isn’t, it is a huge improvement than what we’ve had. That’s not nothing.

Federal tax money goes straight back to the Federal Reserve to make interest payments on the debt we owe them for printing and borrowing us money our government is supposed to be minting themselves – debt free.

Making our money in gold and silver coin, minerals, resources, etc., not only is the law as defined in the United States Constitution ratified in 1787, but is our government’s most creative opportunity. Actually, the Constitution specifies gold and silver coin, but I’m sure the Founders would have been open to tie our money to rare earth minerals and so on. If ever we start minting our own coin again, like we’re supposed to, we shall have to make that amendment.

The money you’re talking about is simply more borrowed, printed Federal Reserve Notes we owe interest on and spent stupidly by stupid people.

On the other hand, it matters not in the slightest where the phoneybills go. We only have to pay for it. We don’t get any of it.

I’d like to see that data.

You can look up the data yourself, but when I saw it, Trump had done 800 rounds of goof during Trump 1.0.

If I recall correctly, that’s more rounds than any US president.

Not that I care if he golfs. Do what ya wanna do.

But, given our dire circumstances, well, he could cut that down a bit. IMHO.

Trump’s net worth in 2016 seems to be estimated around 4.5 Billion. His net worth now is estimated over 7 Billion despite his commercial real estate business taking huge hits during the COVID years. Seems to not be too far off the average kleptocrat curve in the chart you posted.

I would be even more interested to see the net worth curves of Trump’s family during that time period. Lots of stories of all their business dealings with Chinese, Saudi Arabian and other companies. As Biden’s family profiteering shows, all the influence peddling profits don’t necessarily end up going directly into the pockets of the “The Big Guy”.

I was responding to you but I did not direct this comment directly at you. I would have said all you Trump worshipers if I was. Sorry for not making that clearer.

I respect everyone’s opinions here even when I disagree with them. But a lot of the imagery I see, the complete overlooking of his past errors, and the Trump will save us all (except those devil worshipping Communist Democrats) language seems very similar to what I see from devout religious worshipers.

I don’t see Trump as the Devil as many never Trumpers seem to. But based on his behavior and past actions I just can’t look at him and all his big talk and see more than another self interested kleptocrat telling his audience what they want to hear so he can gain the power and recognition he craves. I pray I am wrong and you all are right because we can’t afford to waist any more time or resources on profiteering kleptocrats.

As a businessman and even a tv personality, Trump is shrewd and wildly successful and gives more to humanity than he will ever hope to as a politician – which he clearly is not.

The Trump brand is worldwide and never fades.

Trump is a gifted manager, too. He even made this heap of ours run smoothly in Trump 1.0 in spite of all the mess.

Trump is more important as a businessman. Think of all the young businessmen and entrepreneurs he’s mentored and inspired and continues to inspire.

Businessmen are far more important than politicians.

We need more and better businessmen and entrepreneurs and fewer politicians standing in their way. Same goes for the military and cops.

Let’s go, Trump! Let the firings begin. Fire every last one. Fire the entire government and start over. And replace them with whom, you may ask?

No one. Don’t replace them. Get rid of them. For good.

Blow our minds, Trump.

How much international business did Trump’s children do before, during and after his presidency? I’m sure non of the investors and government officials involved in the significant number of more recent deals were the least bit interested in gaining influential access to the US government.

Biden was a sleaze bag kleptocrat. But if you look up many of the contractors and other business entities who got shafted during Trump’s many bankruptcies you might find more than a few people with equally poor opinions of him as well. Trump’s media and commercial businesses have benefited dramatically from his foray into Republican politics. But I’m sure it is only a happy coincidence from his efforts to save the world🙃

What I really don’t understand is all the Trump love from Republicans. Before choosing to run as a Republican he was a big time palm greaser of the Democratic Party, especially the Clintons. Lots of interviews and his own personal writings showing his support for Obama Care, abortion and bans on “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines. Then he suddenly had some revelations and started voicing support for “Republican” values right around the time his media empire was faltering and he decided to run for President.

Aside from the Supreme Court justices that were appointed under his watch I didn’t notice very much real effort to forward those Republican values during his 4 years in DC. And those Justices supposed support for Republican values should be looked at with some significant grains of salt as well. Instead of saying shall not be infringed means shall not be infringed they used Scalia’s pet historical traditions argument. Thus allowing the anti 2A crowd to waste everyone’s time digging up ancient laws from the 17 and 18 hundreds to argue that restrictions did exist back then so we can be apply even more today. Doesn’t matter whether those restrictions were constitutional or not. Not to mention that Trump’s court has repeatedly passed on very easily winnable pro 2A cases that would have clearly affirmed that the 2A applies to semi automatic rifles and pistols as well as high capacity magazines and sound suppressors, etc.

The actions based evidence as I see it is that Trump is just another self serving kleptocrat. He now has 4 years to prove me wrong. I pray that he can.

@Don102, @Enzo_T, Et All the constant put downs of Troll, TDS sufferer, communist, etc. every time someone posts a disagreeing opinion are lame butt hole come backs. Identical to the Democrats who put down Right leaning comments as conspiracy nut theories, or authoritarian fascist positions, etc. You are all intelligent people it doesn’t shine a beneficial light on your positions every time you drop down to their mud slinging label levels. But it does gain you lots of applause from the peanut gallery. So if all you want is feel good, confirmation bias, group think, keep pushing everyone with differing opinions out of this little Trump love fest, group social site that used to be a forum trying to give everyone wanting to improve and protect their ability to defend themselves and their families a place to learn and share their knowledge.

The problem is that only about 76 million people, out of the 260 something million eligible voters, are all in on the Trump is our savior meme. And that is assuming there wasn’t a noticeable portion of the 76 million who just held their noses to vote for what they felt was the lessor of two evils. So you all have a lot of burning to do to get rid of the 190 millionish U.S. citizens standing between you and the Trumpian Utopia to come. Seems to me it would be wise to get a few more people on your side before pulling out the torches. But that isn’t going to happen if you keep putting down everyone who doesn’t fall into lock step with your beliefs that Trumps flaws, foibles and anti 2A actions were just anomalies that will magically disappear this time around. If there is no room in your tent for a person like myself (whose opinions are every bit as reviled by those on the far left as they are by most of you here) then you all are standing in a very small tent that is going to be easily blown over when the wind shifts again.

By making a significant portion of the firearm owning public feel completely unwelcome here, because they do not agree that Trump will save us all, we are loosing valuable contributions and more importantly valuable support for protecting the 2A cause that brought most of us here in the first place. We are a couple of voter percentage points away from loosing our 2A rights forever. The pro 2A tent needs to get a whole lot bigger and will have to cross party lines if we truly want to save those rights.

I really don’t see buffoon in his actions. I have had the displeasure of working with people who remind me exactly of Trump. In fact my father in law (a rabid never Trumper) reminds me so much of Trump that it has taken an incredible amount of will power to not point that out to him every time he goes off on one of his rants.

What I see in Trump is the typical insecure, school yard bully behavior. I personally could live with that if he could lead this country out of its death spiral. I just didn’t see any evidence of that happening during his first go around in DC and am not going to bet my future on it suddenly happening this time around. Even if he was the devine lord himself come down to save us all I don’t see how he can dig us out of the massive hole the Democrats and Republicans have been digging us into over the past many decades.

If by some miracle it is not too late to steer out of this flushing whirlpool I suspect it is going to take an out of the box thinker who can unite the majority of Americans to work together to get us out of this mess. But the Democrats and Republicans have based their entire campaigns for the past several decades on dividing us further and further.

I guess there is a chance that Trump will swing back to the left to try and gain some more pats on the back from that side of the aisle. But he has helped to create an even larger divide to cross. I don’t like the fact that the biggest olive branch he has to offer to bridge that gap is reverting back to his long held anti 2A positions.

A lot of work/negotiation/info transfer gets done on the golf course. I’m not sure that his time there is an indicator of anything. People also work best, long term when they’re relaxed
and he loves golfing.
