Trump should slow down IMHO

I love Trump and wish he was president for life but he needs to take a little chill pill IMHO . I like and know how he works but us rebuilding the Gaza Strip and staying there is a bit to much and we are still rebuilding stuff that we didn’t tear up? They housed and let Hamas be there and Hamas started that war by snatching a couple hundred people as in men , women and children so let Hamas fix it. And his detractors are gonna say when Malibu and places are as they are? I personally don’t care if California stays like that myself but I ain’t one of “ them “ . And isn’t the 2028 Olympics supposed to be in LA ?

Curious, is that your humble or honest opinion?

IMHO he should keep the blitz going. Gaza is an idea for the future. A proposal for a possible future that would benefit the middle east. He has so many such proposals that make at least me and probably many others think outside the box of what the world is today and a vision of possibilities where all nations prosper in peace along side each other. NOT KILLING EACH OTHER.

When I hear him speak I am not thinking to myself “What a nut!” I’m thinking “This man is WAAAYYYY ahead of the rest of us!” He speaks of OUR nation first and leading the world to a more promising future that benefits all.

He should not slow down at all, but make his detractors look like the fools they are for not having the same vision he does.

Greetings Mark

I, respectfully, disagree. However, I do also understand your concerns.

First, I am not yet certain that the US owning/controlling Gaza is the goal here. Rather, it may be that DJT announced this plan in an effort to get other “bidders” to engage in a bidding war, of sorts.

If it is in fact his plan to ultimately to own, or otherwise control, Gaza, I do not think this is a bad idea either. Though, I must admit it wasn’t on my bingo card.

Either way, I do agree that something new needs to happen there. The region has been on a rinse and repeat cycle of war, cease fire, war… for decades. Without change, it is unlikely at best that this cycle would ever deviate to a lasting peaceful state.

In the end, the region could become an economic boom with companies all around the world, including our own, wanting to do business there. This includes the initial clean-up, the rebuilding and then the long-lasting business opportunities that would result. More importantly, there may actually be an opportunity for peace for the entire region.

The direction this takes could be the difference between endless wars and opportunity for millions.

With regard to the idea of slowing down, I also disagree. This administration has 4 years to make a lasting difference. That is not much time at all. Naturally, the progress will slow as both houses will have to become more involved and this will inevitably slow the pace significantly.

And a mere 2 years if the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED Congress resorts to infighting for pet projects and not acting in a timely manner to get his agenda rolling. If they fail they WILL lose the house and our government will once again be deadlocked. Time is of the essence to get results in Trump’s first 2 years!

Indeed.

The good news there is that the democrat party seems to be taking the “demo” portion quite literally and continuing to implode on a daily basis. I am fine with that.

Your ass***e , no need to act like I agree with ANYTHING Hillary Clinton said because I have no idea what she says because I have never even heard a word she ever said because as soon as I see her it’s “ click” and that’s it. I said sensible things that make sense and if some of you perfectos wanna pick it apart and try to make me look like something I’m not the reading it all and have fun acting like someone while playing with yourself. Man you can’t say squat on here without drawing out the roaches :cockroach: Just like all the other talk boards or whatever they are called.

We can’t count on their voters not turning out in the mid terms. We need Republican lead positive results proving they can govern and produce results for the American people. Quite the opposite from the last 4 years. Total failure book ended by a prospering economy is what we need.

That would be nice, except that the political party that came in second refuses to examine Trumps proposals with an eye toward those that are “for the good of the Country”. Their default position seems to be “Trump proposed it so it HAS to be BAD!!” It seems as if the horses are in the harnesses and ready to pull. The trouble is: ONE horse is in the harness heading NORTH and the other is heading SOUTH. Imagine what could be accomplished if both horses would pull in the same direction.

Why slow down, he has the past four years to correct, and they did a lot of damage.

He could do double time for his whole four year term, and might not get to correct all that.

Let him go, he is doing great.
