He’s made his first mistake IMHO, wish he would slow down

The news said Trump is laying out plans to secure , police whatever Gaza over there. . I hope something changes why does he want to get into that quagmire? I wish he would stick to making us great again, I don’t think anyone can stop the crap over there they shouldn’t have stopped anyway because HAMAS is still going strong… And in closing I love Trump ( dearly not queerly )and wish he was president for life so please don’t start.

We’ll see.

I think it’s a pressure ploy.

I don’t like it either tbh, but if it gets HamAss out of Gaza and makes that a true free region…. Well…

I guess we will see what happens on Saturday!

If I knew if you honestly or humbly thought that I would be able to answer your question better. I could say there is know alternative. They will murder is all if we don’t stop them. The goal is to stop them before they murder any more people. That means as quickly as possible.

He’s just another flavor of swamp creature engaged in printing money for military adventurism and politically popular social programs. I can only imagine how many hundreds of billions of printed $$ will be wasted on invading and occupying Gaza and then fighting Gaza terrorists motivated (rightfully) by being forcibly removed from their homes and relocated to camps in Egypt or Jordan.

Mark, you don’t honestly believe that’s going to happen, do you (US forces invading Gaza and forcibly removing people)??

Trump is smarter than that. He plays a long game. Gaza is absolutely destroyed. There’s nothing to go back to. All the countries around the world seem content to pretend that the shooting can stop, hostages be released, and Palestinians can happily return to their homes and resume life as normal. Well, guess what? There’s NOTHiNG for them to return to. There’s no plan to make anything. There’s no money sitting around in governments to make anything. The whole mess is a giant f-ing disaster. If something radical isn’t done, it’ll just be even more of a breeding ground for hate, resentment and subsequent terror recruitment.

Trump has the balls to tell the truth. This place is ruined. Something really different needs to happen. Governments aren’t going to pay, but private enterprise could.

Who knows where this will end? The point is, he’s forcing the world to face the truth that pretending things can continue as they are is a fallacy, and someone with some creative ideas better get on board and figure out a real answer here. He’s put an idea out there. Let someone make a better one instead of just shooting at the one idea out there so far. Maybe you could get off your couch and propose a good idea for long term peace there…

He is signaling that this will come to an end one way or another. Either way when Israel finishes the job it is with our blessing. Hamas will be removed alive or dead. Hostages (and bodies) will be returned.

I believe he is willing to take the lead on Gaza’s future and letting others know that they will be expected to shoulder some of the burden in rebuilding towards a future that benefits the region. This will not be another nation building campaign IMHO.

Given that a significant amount of his business over the decades has been based on real estate projects and given that most of his family and business associates could easily position themselves to profit from these actions, I think the Occam’s Razor answer is pretty obvious.

Jordan and Egypt would be foolish to take in the Palestinian diaspora and all the problems that go along with it. But there are potential profits to be made at their expense along with the expense of U.S. taxpayers and that is all that matters to most of the people in the DC swamp.

Do you mean to be honest or to be humble? Asking for a feathery friend :sunglasses:

Yep. But I did miss the “We need to send troops to occupy Gaza” from the Orange man’s campaign promises.

I think it’s a real risk, especially among the defense community in DC who are always looking for an opportunity to sell weapons and weapons systems and will manufacture an international crisis to do so. That’s how we got a national debt of $36+ TRILLION that grows at $2 TRILLION every year. Funny how the two biggest recipients of US foreign aid are (1) the Ukraine followed by (2) Israel.

Israel and the Palestinians need to figure out how to live together, and doing so does not involve the US forcing Gazans to relocate to camps in Egypt and Jordan. That’s just a recipe for more terrorism.

Not sure I know enough to have an opinion.

What I would say is this: the last four years have been wake up every day and worry about what went wrong in American politics. Every piece of news seemed to be worse or reveal more of the incompetence of our country’s leadership.

Trump and the current government is/are not the Messiah, but I don’t feel the same dread when I open the news. Maybe it’s all psychological.

THIS IS NOT A MISTAKE!!!

PLEASE listen to Trump and definitely NOT to victims of TDS or the stupid legacy media on this subject.

He is NOT buying or taking over the people of Gaza. USA is assuming control over the Gaza Strip, no compensation to anyone involved. Today a reporter asked him during a press conference with the King of Jordan under what authority he was doing this and his response was “Under USA authority.” The King of Jordan didn’t even react except for nodding. AND THA’S how it’s done!

He’s already working on a coalition of Arab countries to manage the cleanup and development of the real estate, something he is really good at. If done right this would mean a pile of cash for us.

And as far as the Palestinians go, Jordan took the first step today by taking 2,000 Palestinian children into their care. Now several other Arab countries will be offering to take on the 2,000,000 Palestinian population and relocating them to a place where they can educated and live in peace, something they all told Biden to fund salt on and now they are open to exploring. Basically Trump said that Palestinians would be offered clean housing, healthcare and peace. Right now they are living in destroyed buildings. I think this is a massive upgrade to their situation and the death of Hamas…

So, you don’t really love Trump.
It doesn’t make sense for anyone to love a swamp creature.

But once they leave Gaza where are they going to go? Will it be another :poop: :hole: country that let’s them operate as usual? Or is there somewhere we can put them that they will only be able to bomb themselves?

Trump and Musk are lightyears ahead of the politicians, the elites, bankers, international CEO’s, the politicians, naysayers, flag wavers (Phuck your flag), Activists, taco munchers, trans whatevers, the thems, you know, the thing; transnational corporations, smoking guns, former smokers, smokehouse rats, crossdressers, cockroaches, cross trainers, intellectuals, innovators, inventors, warriors, gunners and all. The Davos cabal wants us owning nothing, nothing sharp or that shoots projectiles, and singing Kumbaya while they rape us under an amorphous UN cloudcover.
Posers like Schumer are like fleas on an elephant’s assx. His creepy mug and mealy mouthed form of socialism and graft is done. The bankers with the keys to the world’s wealth and the Saudi Kings with the keys to the gas tank are still wobbly after Trump’ coup but they’ll recover.
Trump is the nationalist rebel across the pond. History may not repeat itself exactly but it rhymes. 2025 is going to be epic.
