When this war started, many on this site were fire-breathers asserting that the Ukraine has the absolute right to defend itself and that the US should provide whatever aid – military and money – that the Ukraine needed. BTW, Ukraine is the largest recipient of US foreign aid (like USAID and State Department funds), followed by Israel. The US war hawks and the defense industry love a good war. Why not if we’re just printing the money? What’s a few more points on inflation, after all.
Now that the Orange man has cooled on the Ukraine, I wonder whether any of the folks who were Ukraine hawks have changed their tune.

I bet most of the hawks are stunned, realizing for the first time they have been lied to like a rug and realizing Volodomir Zelensky and his regime are to blame for everything.

I agree Americans have humanity. That’s why I support the church, food drives, helping those in need. Why we’ve supported Tunnels 2 Towers, Wounded Warrior’s, etc. Until we’ve taken care of our own (IMHO) we have no business funding the military industrial complex on a war Ukraine can never win. We give Ukraine our old munitions and then the Pentagon gets Billions and Billions to resupply, making someone very wealthy with overblown contracts, and the real loser, the American taxpayer. Go DOGE!

Show humanity to the million Ukrainians who died for nothing but lies. Humanity for the children the Zelensky Regime is trafficking. Humanity for the Russian children and their parents murdered at the hands of the Ukrainian NAZI battalions.

It wasn’t Putin who started with Ukraine. Ukraine started with the Russians, long ago, as far back as 2014.
Putin is merely putting an end to it. Ukraine is now nearly demilitarized and deNAZIfied, as were the goals specified in this Special Military Operation.
For over twenty years, Russia has made it clear to the world, NATO nor nukes will be tolerated on Russian borders. Zelensky and his thugs chose to ignore the command. They have paid an exacting and final price for their errors, miscalculations and crimes. So, too, has the USA. As you deserve.
If you want to continue entertaining fantasies about Russia invading Western Europe, go ahead. It’s a laugh a minute.
Western Europe got themselves into this – they can dig themselves out.
