The Supreme Court has regularly sided with state rights and that states can regulate firearms which falls under the 2nd Amendment. If states lacked the ability regulate firearms in their state then everyone in the United States could wield a firearm whether they are here legally or not, the 2nd specifies “People” not “Citizen” like the 14th Amendment which limits Federal Voting to citizens. The Governor is following the Constitution and if they are not following the law then citizens can go to the courts where it can be overturned. We are talking about a President who doesn’t think the courts can overturn his Executive Order. And when asked if he must uphold the Constitution said, “I don’t know”. Judges appointed by Trump are shooting him down, Pam Bondi is a complete moron and has been sending stupider people in her place to argue on behalf of Trump in the courts and they keep losing. Not because there is this major liberal conspiracy to keep Trump winning in the courts, it’s because the Constitution is written in plain English and a 3rd Grader can understand it.

Let’s all remember that any amendment to the constitution has by definition denied any and all states and other government entities and courts any say that goes contrary to the amendment. If it says “shall not be infringed” no state, local entity or court has any say in the matter. Any opinion that implies they have any say or authority over “arms” and who can own or possess them, or what kind, is by the very wording unconstitutional and void, unless specifically enumerated in another amendment to the contrary. The states or any other entity who wants to impose restrictions needs to amend the amendment or shut up.

The reference in the 2A “the people” does refer to the citizenry. The 14th designates:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside…”
The above “persons” refers to the “People” of the 2A. And so throughout the Constitution and Amendments. Illigal aliens and felons are withheld.
While it is true that States must respect the federal Consitution, we see States violating it. I know. I live in CA.

Why would I have a right written in the US constitution if I was not on US soil? However an Indian citizen in the US can exercise their 1st Amendment and even their 2nd Amendment if they went through the proper state channels to get the proper permits to be able to carry a firearm. Plenty of people from all over the world come to the US to hunt and can carry firearms, however it’s regulated by the State they are in.
And Pam Bondi is trash, she was trash in Florida where she was anything but a supporter of the 2nd Amendment and she has been trash since becoming the Attorney General. I am seriously surprised she still has a job after so many of the lawyers arguing on Trump’s behalf in the courts are not only losing their cases but are being laughed out of the courts for the terrible statements they are providing to defend litigation.
We the tax payers are spending an unprecedented amount of money to defend litigation against our Government where we are constantly losing in the courts. Because Pam Bondi would rather be a “Yes Woman” over being honest with Trump, that there is zero way his executive order is Constitutional.
Over and over again we are seeing courts say everyone in the US no matter their legal status has a right to due process as written in the Constitution and that being President does not supersede the Constitution. Any normal person could go to their boss and tell them the truth, Pam Bondi would rather tell her boss that the courts are liberal and thus that is why he is losing.
The Constitution was not written to limit or provide rights for the people, it was written to limit the power of the Federal Government. The limitation of illegal aliens and felons from possessing a firearm has nothing to do with the Constitution and everything to do with laws written by our Federal Government and State Governments which I feel are Unconstitutional however the Supreme Court disagrees with me. I do not feel that felons should lose their right to the 2nd Amendment, individuals who have paid their debt to society should not be denied their rights by the Federal Government. California a state you live in allows felony charges to be reduced to a misdemeanor after 10 years under certain circumstances which allows those individuals to once again become legal gun owners. Against the Federal Governments wishes.
