Trump has discovered a new way to extract oil

The Trump administration has found a new way to extract oil that should bring prices way down for American citizens.

This new technique doesn’t destroy land in America. This natural resource was just floating out there in the ocean, waiting for us to remove it. I see this as a win-win. Not only do we get super cheap oil, but we also slow the flow of fentanyl into this country. Three cheers for President Trump using his considerable mental resources to figure this out. :+1: :+1: :+1:

Wow… and when we can expect price drop?

I drove to local Shell after reading this… and… surprise :zipper_mouth_face:

LOL, well, that was just the first tanker we hijacked. I am sure we will start getting them like drug boats here soon. Then, like the drug boats, we will soon have to go ashore.

Personally, I believe Trump has stopped 100% of the fentanyl coming into this country from Venezuela. So cheers, Mr. Trump. America owes you big time for this one.

Hey, did anyone else read this report from the DEA.
Virtually no illicit fentanyl in the U.S. comes from Venezuela. U.S. and United Nations drug data, along with counternarcotics experts, consistently show that Venezuela is not a source or a significant transit country for the U.S. fentanyl supply.
According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other authoritative sources, the illicit fentanyl supply chain to the United States is overwhelmingly linked to Mexico and China.

  • Production: Nearly all illicit fentanyl entering the U.S. is produced in clandestine labs in Mexico by transnational criminal organizations.
  • Precursors: The precursor chemicals required to manufacture fentanyl are primarily sourced from China (and sometimes India) and shipped to Mexico.
  • Entry Points: Most fentanyl is smuggled into the U.S. via land through official ports of entry along the U.S.-Mexico border, often in private vehicles, and frequently smuggled by U.S. citizens.

So you just have to give it time, my friend. Trump will handle this just like the fentanyl trade. Soon they will be selling gas and oil on every street corner for a buck.

I think Trump should tell the people he is going to put gas in the car in the garage. This is much better than a chicken in every pot…
This could be a great campaign message for his next term. :+1: :+1: :+1:

The will be no “third term”… Hopefully. :grimacing:

I am not sure on this one; the verdict is still out. Also, thank you for being evolved enough to have a sense of humor about things.

I have nothing against finding any source of the oil, as long as it doesn’t bring harm to environment.
Single tanker is not enough to change the price anyway…

I just found out that this seizure wasn’t a Trump’s Administration idea… it was a result of sanctions imposed on this ship under Biden’s Presidency in 2022. Thus all the glory belong to Joe.

LOL, I know it is nothing to our reserves, but I love how in the past when they started gas hikes and it became the stock game of the week, they would say that a hurricane held up a shipment, and the price would go up. Now they don’t even bother to lie about gouging you.

I am going to have to look this up… So why didn’t Joe’s Auto Pen have them hijacked before when he was in office?
Trump, that slacker—I thought he got rid of all Biden’s stuff.

While Jimmy Carter started U.S. sanctions on Iran in 1979 (halting oil imports), it was President Donald Trump who significantly ramped up sanctions targeting Iran’s oil sector and shipping networks in 2018, withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) and reimposing measures to curb their petroleum exports, impacting global oil trade and specifically targeting those involved in shipping to Iran from various regions, including attempts to block oil flow from South America.
Key Presidents and Actions:
Jimmy Carter (1979): Initiated sanctions, including an immediate ban on oil imports from Iran, following the embassy hostage crisis.
Bill Clinton (1995): Issued executive orders against Iran’s nuclear program and support for terrorism, expanding sanctions.
Donald Trump (2018-2020):
Withdrew from the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal) in 2018.
Reimposed sanctions on Iran’s oil sector, targeting the purchase, sale, and transport of Iranian petroleum.
Implemented “maximum pressure” campaigns, sanctioning vessels and entities involved in Iran’s oil trade, including efforts to block oil flows from countries like Venezuela (South America).
Joe Biden (2021-Present): Continued many of the Trump-era sanctions on oil and shipping, with some specific designations against entities facilitating illicit oil shipments, as noted by United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) in October 2022.
Regarding South America:
The Trump administration focused heavily on preventing countries like Venezuela and China from supplying oil to Iran, sanctioning tankers and intermediaries involved in this trade.
Therefore, while Carter started the sanctions, Trump significantly expanded them to specifically target the oil trade and shipping routes, including those involving South America.

What I have found out so far.

I also read about this.
In 2019, the tanker Grace 1 (later renamed Adrian Darya-1 ) was at the center of a major international incident when the British Royal Navy seized it off Gibraltar on July 4, suspecting it was smuggling Iranian oil to Syria in violation of EU sanctions, triggering a diplomatic crisis that escalated tensions between the UK, US, and Iran, leading to its eventual release after Iran gave assurances it wouldn’t go to sanctioned countries, despite later US sanctions and claims it did head to Syria.

The Skipper Tanker story is very interesting:

  1. Formerly named: Adisa . In 2022 Adisa was smuggling oil for Iran and Hezbollah. Ship was sanctioned by USA in 2022
  2. Registered to Company in Mashall Islands
  3. Managed by company from Nigeria
  4. The day ship was seized it was under Guyana’s flag… and Guyana’s maritime authority said it was falsely flying the country’s flag

Nothing more to add. Pirates and smugglers deserve such punishments.

Man.. even we do jokes about the situation.. he is still your President.
We can like him, we can hate him.. but the President should be respected. :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:

I honestly am concerned about the next tanker he seizes. That they will have it rigged to either dump something into the oil or, even worse, have it rigged to blow when it gets to the port and kill a bunch of our boys. with a GPS-activated device for maximum damage.

I used to do jokes about Biden also. Look, they have both done good things and bad. What is really sad is each group thinks it is only the other one that does the bad things. They will not even entertain the idea that “their” president might do something against the people.
We have forgotten one of the most important aspects covered in the constitution. The Second Amendment is all about the people’s ability to be able to stand up to their government. The government wants us to argue among ourselves while they fill their coffers and pass laws to keep all of us down, blaming it on the other side’s actions for doing so. When they pass another law everyone loses, not just “those people.”

See, Trump even found it cheaper than this in the ocean. He is an amazing businessman. TRUMP… TRUMP… TRUMP… Come on, cheer with me.

My question is if that oil was already on route to the United States since we buy oil from Venezuela. I mean if we already bought it and then we take the tanker is that not us stealing from ourselves?

That’s the government for you; the only thing they do well is steal and print more money. They have elevated this approach to taking the money from their left hand and putting it into their right.

Not really!!! Just a route change, meeting halfway, “Ok, we’ll take it from here the rest of the way”. Right??? Regardless of who’s oil it was destined to go to (Syria, China, Iran, Russia )

Syria, Iran and Russia have their own oil, the biggest consumer of Venezuela oil is China followed by the US.
