Most criminals genuinely think they are doing the right thing.
Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot and Mussolini apparently thought they were doing the right thing.
Meth heads believe they are doing the right thing.
Lying politicians think they are doing the right thing
Human Traffickers believe they are doing the right thing.
Psychopathic killers are for the most part dead certain they are doing the right thing.
Wonky District Attorneys think they are doing the right thing.
Gorge Soros thinks he is doing the right thing.
In fact all of us seek to do the right thing
The trouble comes when we have to conclude what the right thing to do is, exactly.

Don’t ruin your life, call cops follow the guy let them do their job. As was said be a good witness. It’s just not worth it.

The evidence speaks for itself, their bigotry got the better of them and now they will rot in prison!
Learn from this fiasco and use your head, I am no stranger to defending my family and being treated poorly in the system so make damn certain it is justifiable or you will be in the same boat!!!
I was released after the evidence proved the assailant was shot inside, what did not help is the idiot neighbors lied to the police and then dealing with prejudiced detectives from Los Angeles Sheriffs!
If they want to talk you tell any law enforcement to speak with me with counsel present!!!

A lot can be said about all that happened in this case… Moving forward we really need to think things out before we take action. And what even action we take we have to make sure its the proper & right thing to do.

Well said, no matter if the person as a long record, just watch them but do not take action unless there is a real threat of life, let the police do their job.

To me, it comes down to a single thing. Was he threatening me, my family or somebody eleses? If not, I can make no case to chase the guy. He was running, Away, that’s not a threat.

I agree with you one hundred percent. I will say this "it would be very hard for me to walk away from the scene where people are steeling baskets of food,clothing, etc.and walking out of the store. I was a policeman for over twenty years. Stopping things like this is ingrained in you.
