My alarm stickers show a German Shepard standing in front of a person(ME) with a pump shotgun! Under the picture it says “DO NOT ENTER!
Works better than a no guns sign. Hope it works for you.
In my area the only reactions I have gotten is I love it and where can I get one
Amazon $22.95 already looked it up.
Well, there is only one sure alarm that works really well. 1 or 2 man eating dogs that will go all out risking life and limb. Otherwise, if someone wants to break in your home regardless, the sign alone wont stop’em.
Having a sign lets 'em know they do have a very little window. Not having a sign gives the impression that your home is unprotected. There are many who dont have home alarms still. Area wise mostly.
Burglars want it easy, quiet and quick. Nothing in an imperfect world is a 100% sure shot.
Get the man eating dog, lap dogs can be a deterrence
if barkers. I say, its good to put the sign out as mine are+dog+cams+nosy neighbors +alarm+ME.
Hey, you got to keep up with the Jones’s ![]()

Well, depending on where you live, you might only want to broad cast the beware of dog, and home alarm. Some areas the criminals are looking for a gun to steal…dont give’em a reason. Again, that depends on the area you live in. Nobody wants to steal a barking and bitting big dog or alarm system for the most part. Be safe.
My HOA will not let me dig a moat, or install a drawbridge for that matter. Back to the drawing board.
Good! I believe in personal property ownership anyway, not community property/HOA. KEEP OUT!
Well, you get what your money allows, whatever that may be, you can even buy dictatorship…![]()

Alarm and sign!
Hmmm, The house across the street has a sign. .never broken into from what I know. Our house has 4 cameras…ring, and two motion sensors with another one guarding a spot undisclosed. We havent had any breakins either. I think it all depends on the area…but at the same point within 3-7 mile radius we see multiple breakins and odd balls walking up to peoples cars and testing if the doors are locked. We also have alot of weirdos or oddballs checking front doors as well. Ive even seen them look for hidden keys.
I look at it as a deterrent and like you said a when the TSHTF. Basically, I look at it as a warning for whomever is home to get prepaired to protect yourself.
If your house hasn’t been broken into then I’d keep the signs.
That should really work. I like it. Might help keep peoples dogs off my yard as they never clean up their dogs shiate piles.

I REALLY like that sign! Amazon?

Always been my feeling.
A sign would discourage an impulsive burglar, but an experienced burglar would know real and fake signs and probably decide if he or she is competent to take the risk. Members have have posted great funny signs or utilized dogs or prickly vegetation and pointed out the value of multi layered security.
Don’t undervalue security such as the bored elderly people across the street, knowing the neighbors immediately nearby, varying your schedule, having someone at home, and maintaining an average look. In my opinion those things will give more value than adding a sign to an existing security system and reduce the chance of having a false sense of security.
