Horrendously dangerous legal precedent that might/should be overturned on appeal. What they did was horribly negligent and quite frankly the school is almost as culpable. But that is what the CIVIL side of the legal system is for.
They did NOT commit manslaughter and their son was charged and convicted as an adult and you canāt have it both ways.
We canāt let visceral hatred for their stupidity cloud the legal aspects of the case.

Iām torn on this one. Parents donāt parent, yet society has to live with the consequences. Student loans. Car loans. Education. Healthcare. Equal opportunity. It never ends and no one is ever responsible.
