Not a smart thing to do, he is very lucky to be alive, I know because that’s my home town and most cops there love to shoot first and ask questions later, plus it’s last paperwork a few told me.
I agree that this could’ve been worse. Most police officers may have gunned him down and would’ve been justified. The fact that he had no criminal record doesn’t mean squat. I can’t believe the judge let him walk on $1000 bond.
Then he let Arrington go home by posting a $1,000 deposit on his $10,000 bail amount. Navarro pointed to Arrington’s lack of any criminal record as he set conditions for his release.
This could have easily gone so wrong! Englewood is a high volume shooting gallery. It is amazing that these LEOs showed restraint!
Safe to say his permit is revoked.
