Things we have learned from the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

Respectfully, may I ask why your article? I do not know everything, but there may be a misunderstanding
here.

Desires here were not to start a war, or get into a gun fight, verbal or fist fight.

In training with USCCA training, we are very lovingly educated to avoid any gun fight, call 911, be a good
witness, and/or escape. If there is not any way to escape ANY gun fight, then when you face that and you are in fear of grave bodily injuries or DEATH, the usage of deadly force is used to defend and protect.

" If you test the waters of posting yourself aggressively on the internet"

The article that I sent was to this Community: ā€˜That was a lie:’ Florida Gov. DeSantis says media got certain facts of Kyle Rittenhouse case wrong’, was not aggression or false and never meant to hurt feelings to anyone.

I cannot even start to recall all the facts given in Rittenhouse’s Court Case and the warfare he stopped
with any firearm of his; legal or illegally.

The only facts that are needed to be known, that running to a gun fight, killing any person, whether they are innocent or not, possibility of starting a larger fight with a rioting group of protestors, we are not to engage that FIGHT.

USSCA, the staff, educators, all the hard work to help keep us safe, has not taught any of us to start destroying anyone or improperly using any firearm. People wish to pin metals on Rittenhouse for destroy anyone with an illegal firearm, have at it. We do not need any repeating war or wars.

Facts of all the nightmares shows lying in court, is a big problem too. But I sincerely apologize if any feelings have gotten hurt here over any article.

I was just stating and asking why don’t we stand up and not tolerate the legal system attacking our 1st amendment rights. Everyone’s always saying ā€œWATCH WHAT YOU SAY ONLINE IT WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU.ā€ But the problem is anybody can misconstrue anything and make it seem what it’s not. I know what the USCCA is for and I love the USCCA. But just imagine if your prosecutor in a legal court case tried diminishing the USCCA by playing the video at this specific time. YouTube

We will never know why all these things happen the way they did. I make mistakes and if I
charged into a problem like this one and made terrible condemnation toward people, making judgements verbally, and destroying people’s lives with words alone, they can and will use those words against me or anyone that placed and spoke those terrible words; includes threatening someone. I never desire or
seek to hurt someone, because words can kill a person and painfully.

Please train, learn, and communicate with others here and USSCA is the best place to start. I mean well to you and Happy Holiday’s to you.

Education is needed, but my greatest areas I am training in are Situational Awareness. It takes time.

Who said anything about that.

Examples used without the usage of a firearm. Words used improperly kill, when misusing a firearm
can and will kill also. The wrongful words you use can be used against you, the same for anyone.

I do not have any fancy magical words, just this, set these aside things for now and enjoy your family
and Holidays, not a firearm. LIVE life to the fullest !

and the beat goes on…

Lots of chances to learn from this case study:

Some element or merit for self-defense rights.

However, word to the wise:

  • Don’t break laws, no matter how small
  • I admit bias, in that someone age 17 has not yet fully developed learning right from wrong, and I’m more lenient toward that age group
  • Don’t go to protest if there is a different way to make a difference (protests are high risk situations, and that one was very high)
  • Be smart about it
  • Choose conceal over open carry
  • Open carrying is one thing, open carrying a rifle - you’ll get the attention you are asking for
  • If I did what he did, I’d regret it
  • The elders who knew the young man could have stopped him from going; ā€œWhere were theyā€?
  • Don’t edge someone on to do this
  • It’s one thing to not have to go to jail or pay hefty fines, but I wonder about and we might not hear if he lost any rights related to firearms. I don’t know all the details of what happened, but I wonder if he was found innocent of murder, given all of his many decisions, should he lose some of his rights? And if so, should that be made public, in order for society to see fairness and justice at least in some form?

I owe the young man for teaching me what not to do

Despite the errors made, I still support self defense and the right to bear. I just don’t support big mistakes, though I’ve made some myself. Twas a learning experience.

I can’t argue with Mas Ayoob, ā€œWhen called by Panther - don’t enterā€.
Still it feels that the position he and other experts take encourages the likes of Kenosha Park Committee to lionize and honor violent, terroristic individuals. I don’t know if you saw it in the news, but the half-bicep felon got to shake hands with POTUS recently. Aside from this being a Secret Service fiasco, the optics are horrible.

People always want their pound of flesh, and to not have to admit they were wrong. It’ll never change.

I’d be interested to see how this plays out through the court proceedings but I guess I don’t see how they will be able to prove conspiracy.

Regardless, this is a perfect example of the importance of knowing that even if you are found innocent in criminal court, you can still end up in civil court.

But the real fight is trying to gain a name for themselves and tarnish that of another. There’s nothing noble here.

I sure wish that folks would live their lives as if resources were limited.

The father of Anthony Huber, one of two men [shot and killed by Rittenhouse], filed the lawsuit in 2021, accusing officers of allowing for a dangerous situation that violated his son’s constitutional rights and resulted in his death. Anthony Huber’s father, John Huber, also alleged that Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time of the shootings, conspired with law enforcement to cause harm to protestors. John Huber is seeking unspecified damages from city officials, officers and Rittenhouse.

The son went to burn the city, so the father blames the city and demands money from the city. Rational.
Strangely, I find myself in agreement with him – LE did not do enough to keep protesters safe, should have kept them locked up in their cells.
