Border Patrol agents came under attack by violent mobs in the neighboring cities of Maywood and Bell in Los Angeles County, California on Friday.

Photos and videos show mobs confronting the federal agents. The Department of Homeland Security reported two Border Patrol vehicles were rammed, several tires slashed and windows smashed.

DHS posted:

Today in Bell and Maywood, CA, Border Patrol vehicles were violently targeted during lawful operations.

On Atlantic Blvd, one vehicle was rammed and had its tires slashed. On Slauson Ave, a civilian struck a federal vehicle, totaling it. The driver was arrested for suspicion of vehicular assault as a mob formed and slashed additional tires. LAPD, LAFD, OFO teams, and Border Patrol Special Operations responded and restored order. One suspect is in custody and will be presented to U.S. Attorney’s Office for criminal prosecution.

Federal law enforcement is facing an ever-escalating increase in assaults—but we will not be deterred. Secretary Noem’s message is clear: If you assault a federal officer, you will be prosecuted. CBP and our partners will continue to enforce the law—relentless and unapologetic.

In Maywood, AIR7 was flying over the area when federal agents deployed some kind of tear gas or smoke bombs on a small crowd of protesters. The crowd quickly dissipated in the chaos, with a lot of people yelling.

Things became aggressive after the gas or smoke was deployed. One protester was seen kicking it back toward the federal agents.

Video shows multiple SUVs, seemingly belonging to federal agents, stopped on Slauson Avenue near Alamao Avenue, about a block away from where the gas or smoke was deployed.

Just moments before that, a protest on Atlantic Avenue in the City of Bell got heated.

AIR7 video shows a group of about 100 people who showed up after an immigration operation in the area.

The video shows people throwing rocks and bottles at vehicles as they passed by.

Taco, “It was tense in Maywood and Bell as ICE/CBP and multiple local police agencies confronted protesters and local residents vocalizing their anger at ICE/CBP violently arresting individuals and a protester. In the video you can see smoke being deployed and an unmarked vehicle heading recklessly in the wrong direction almost running over civilians which possibly included the Mayor of Cudahy as she stated on her social media.”

DHS reported Thursday that attacks on agents are skyrocketing, “New data reveals that ICE law enforcement is now facing a 500% increase in assaults while carrying out enforcement operations. Make no mistake, sanctuary politicians are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE.”

Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activists in Denver, Colorado, managed to thwart agents trying to arrest an illegal migrant wanted in Italy for child rape.

ICE Colorado said on Friday their agents were trying to detain Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, a criminal alien from El Salvador who was convicted of child rape in Italy, when members of a local anti-ICE group alerted him to their presence.

ICE said the group, Colorado Rapid Response, posted on social media that ICE was in the area, allowing him time to flee.

“During our surveillance of Leon, members of Colorado Rapid Response arrived on scene and alerted him to law enforcement’s presence, which allowed him to escape arrest,” ICE Colorado said. “Groups like this interfere with ICE’s ability to keep communities safe.”

ICE shared a Facebook post from the group, written in English and Spanish, alerting its followers to ICE’s presence in the area and the type of vehicle agents were using.

ICE has asked the public to report Leon-Deras to federal authorities if they see the migrant but warned the public not to approach him.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston previously vowed to station police officers to block ICE agents from carrying out deportations, and a report showed that the city has spent over $356 million in taxpayer dollars on services for migrants. A 2017 Denver ordinance limits officials from cooperating with ICE.

Anti-ICE protests and activity have grown since President Donald Trump returned to office and vowed to carry out the largest deportation mission in U.S. history.

In Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, anti-ICE activists tried to block the entrance of an ICE deportation facility in Portland and then launched fireworks and shined lasersat law enforcement, Department of Homeland Security assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.

Two weeks ago, a mob of anti-ICE protesters set fire to cars in Los Angeles, damaged property and threw rocks at law enforcement, forcing Trump to activate the National Guard.

The “No Kings” protests across the country last week were in part fueled by opposition to mass deportations.

On Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that 75% of the illegal aliens arrested under the Trump administration have been charged with or convicted of a crime.

“One far-left politician from the Los Angeles area may soon find herself with ample time to consider the wisdom—or complete lack thereof—of posting a video to social media calling for local gang members to rise up against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

The politician in question is one Cynthia Gonzalez, current vice mayor of Cudahy, a city in the southeastern area of Los Angeles County, California. Ms. Gonzalez seemingly thought it would be a good idea as an elected official to further stoke the violence in her community by calling on the local gangbangers of “18th Street” and “Florencia 13” to “get in order” against ICE officials as they carried out lawful immigration raids.

She also thought it would be a good idea to put her violent call to action on video and post it all over social media.

The video, which was apparently posted sometime last week, has been deleted, but, as the kids like to say, the internet is forever. And Fox News’ Bill Melugin was all over it.

Gonzalez, who appeared to have shamelessly made the video in public at an open-air restaurant, began by calling out the area “cholos” for apparently not protecting their “territory” from being “invaded by the biggest gang there is.” That “gang,” of course, refers to federal law enforcement officials doing their job. Here she is in her own words:

Not for nothing, but I wanna know where all the cholos are at in Los Angeles?

The term “cholo” is simply another word for gangbanger. Gonzalez went on to shame her cholo constituents for letting those “who are not about the gang life” take on the duties of “protecting our turf, protecting our people.” Girl is big time mad at the cholos, but is full of praise for the “regular ones,” presumably including herself, who are out there “trying to do the thing.”

So, what we have here is an elected official trying mobilize the more criminal element of her community to commit violence against ICE agents who are trying to clear the area of illegals. Or, as Gonzalez so eloquently put it to the friendly, neighborhood cholos, “they’re running their muck all up in your streets.”

To regular Americans, this goes far beyond behavior unbecoming of an officeholder and goes straight to inciting violence against the federal government. And it seems that the FBI may well agree. According to Melugin, sources have revealed to him that the FBI is actively investing Gonzalez, even paying a visit to the vice mayor’s house with some questions. The FBI and Gonzalez herself have refused to comment on the situation, but Melugin also reports that Madam Vice Mayor has taken to social media to plead for help finding legal representation.

The left, it seems, never tires of having the consequences of their actions bite them on their rage-filled behinds.

Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left’s lies, new legislation wasn’t needed to secure our border, just a new president. “
