Calling @TheKid ![]()
Do you think @TheKid buys cheap stuff? ![]()
I could probably learn to love one. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
Not at all, buy one get one free? Definitely! ![]()
You’re doing it to me again aren’t you?? ![]()
Are you still looking for another 2011’ish pistol?
Check TISAS B9R Gen2 ![]()
Less than $700 for a 2011’ish pistol without single MIM part ![]()
Nope, it’s @Jerzees turn. ![]()
Why? Why do you listen to @Karacal?? He’s a bad influence!
My favorite store which got me in trouble after retaining @Karacal as my marriage counsellor. They are about to come out with their “Holiday Specials”. I think that I am a permanent resident of my garage. ![]()
I don’t care how bad influence he brings… as long we agree with most what happens in this Community.

Fortunately I’m not easy to be under someone’s influence so we can continue this discussion for a long time…
I can only hope you have a very comfortable garage ![]()
Thanks for being an “understanding” friend @Jerzees ![]()
You are welcome.
2011 times welcomed…
I thought it would have been Camping World😀
Yeah, well the manager in the firearms section knows my ordeal. He has suggested a few “camping accessories” to help “ease the suffering”. ![]()
I have salespeople that will rent me out a room🤣
My wife and I visited Reno (wife attended a SIG Rose event) back in 2024. We ventured over to Reno Guns & Range to “look” around and saw their Staccato section. The gents behind the counter were kind enough to let us handle a few of the models (CS, P, XL and XC). My wife fell in love with Staccato the moment she racked the slide and said “buy one, you’ve always wanted one”. Who am I to say “no”..
I haven’t seen anything from this company except the Romulus, plenty of reviews on that.
@Jerzees would know, I’m just a Staccato owner ![]()
I’ve been looking online at this pistol’s reviews… and have no opinion.
Romulus was a success, so Attila might be another. There are so many new 1911 DS / 2011 models on the market that it’s impossible to know all of them.
I personally stick with Staccato not HD models, WC, BUL, Atlas, JG. Classic 1911/201 style without comp an ports.
@Jerzees is right on.
I own a 4.25" Romulus (non-comp.) and enjoy it - a very good value for a 2011. However, the polymer grip gets “slippery” at the range and seems to lose long range accuracy (25 yards for me) compared to my striker fired pistols.
My Romulus is newly “stippled”, so I’ll head back to the range to try it. However, it is no Staccato or BUL or even a Kimber 2K11, IMHO.
I have been looking at procuring a WC SFX9 and happened to run across an ad for the Attila. I wasn’t even aware of the model.
