The 4th of July - Happy Independence Day America

Now that it is officially the 5th of July I decided to light my last brick of fireworks and dance! This is for all you ladies, especially @Dawn!

You nailed it! I have seen how people in other countries live and are treated by their leaders. Ours is not perfect, but it is not easily outdone.

Ask the protesters (looters/and vandals}: “Will your actions improve our situation or will it only create more division?” The actions of these few taint the message.

Someone I know was asked who is responsible for the current unrest. He answered “Trump”. He has been blinded by the mainstream media who won’t use the word “mob” or “rioter”.

Agreed @texaseskimo, let’s all get back to the discussion of all things USCCA, 2A, our love of firearms, freedom, safety, and the sharing of our collective experiences and expertise of each.

Let’s continue building this great community, which is all about respect, teaching, and learning.

Emotions can flare when fanned with inflammatory statements, sensitive subjects, and singular views. I’m sure the Internet is full of other forums to where posts related to those topics are welcome and encouraged. I don’t think that’s the goal of this forum. Let’s keep the core values at the forefront and show how great of a community this is.

A little story…my mrs had to make a rush trip from Idaho to Houston, TX. Drove non stop with a young helper, left Wed, and got back last afternoon. (pulling our sled trailer with our adopted kid’s furniture as they got a new job). The mrs went thru some little town yesterday morning, in the town’s main street, and was invited to join the local parade, maybe because of her Idaho plate. They even went and got some candy to participate, and say hi to the natives. How awesome that we live in a country where we have that type of opportunity!!!

Not sure I can handle you dancing with fireworks again either. I am afraid I might have nightmares tonight. :slightly_smiling_face:

I was on early yesterday and this is my first chance to jump on today. Had church duties and then the HoneyDo list to take care of.
But I am alive and well.

@MikeBKY Of course you are okay. The only living things after the Zombie Apocalypse will be lawyers, Tom Brady, and roaches.

[Thanks for checking in though :+1:]

Thank you Scott H!! After reading the first thread Texas Eskimo, which repeatedly speaks of how imperfect we are and of our failures, Great way if honoring Our Indepemdance day! Its GREAT to hear somebody like you sum it up by saying Our country is the Greatest! That’s ALL that needs to be said! Yea nothing is perfect everything has imperfections and suffered failures. But 4th of July is a day to speak of our Greatness!!! Every day is a day to speak of our greatness!! Semper Fi Scott!
