I’ve read enough bad things about the Taurus brand in the past, some of which may be no longer relevant, that make me stay away from their products.
I own a couple of Taurus; each of them function completely properly. The TX22 is a thrilling weapon to fire.
I’m seeing the tx22 has quite an attraction among the frt folks. Been tempted, saw a $20 frt for the gun yesterday. .22 at high rates of fire is hilariously good fun.
It is amazing and a lot of fun. 1900 rounds a minute. Keep in mind you might have to do some balancing to make it work right, and the plastic parts will wear out seemingly fast. So you will need to replace the cheap part every so often, but they are cheap on eBay. Well worth it for the fun of it. Also, you can do the conversion yourself, and in just a few minutes anyone can do it, I am told. ![]()
It’s reloading the dang mags that’s the pita. 1900 rounds a minute going out, 1900 rounds a day going in
They have no really good loading systems for it either. I bought all extended mags for mine. Now you can barely find any parts for it or the large mags.
Just had this pop up on my cell. Looks fun, yup, until reloading time.
You should be able to get a base model for just over 300 bucks. or right around it. Even with the one you put up, you will still want to change the trigger; it is sloppier than a 10-dollar whore. The 2 mags at the end in the picture are the ones I use; they are around 30 bucks. I have really pimped mine out with all kinds of bling so they look at the weapon, not how bad of a shot I am.

I just shoot at empty ranges and figure as long as the assailant is 500 pounds or so, he’s getting hit. ![]()
