Got two coming any decade now from Silencer Central. Both Titanium, the Banish 30 and 223… the 30 will be mainly on my .308 RPR and the 223 most likely on my 12.5" AR. Very light being titanium, and I’ve got the lightweight composite heat shields as well. I also got the adapter to run the 30 on my 5.56 guns…any decade now…also thinking seriously on a .300 bo upper, run the 30 with subsonics, my kid has that set up,9" barrel and it’s quite different, in a “yeah, this is neat” way.
I went with titanium due to light weight and the heat dissipating qualities of this material. Quite familiar with it on jet engines.
Just as an update to me purchasing a suppressor, Last May I have paid for mine and it is the latter part of April, and I still am waiting!
The $200 tax stamp should be deductible if you have to wait a year!
I paid for one in March of 2021, and got the stamp March of 2022
Shortest I’ve ever had was like 9 months.
Patience is a virtue…so sayeth the atf.
Ordered a Dead Air Sandman S. Two weeks and it just shipped to my FFL. Wonder how long itll take after that.
A year! The dealer had mine already there! I purchased it last May!
Phone call today. A year and 3 days to approve. Still have one in jail from June last year and I expect a year or so from that as well. I’m anxious to see if the 90day efile really happens tho. If anyone gets a quick approval please post here.
I purchased mine in February 2021 and still waiting unfortunately. 424 days since I bought it and 398 days since they “cashed the check” for the tax stamp. I would think it would be any day now but I have been saying that for about a month so we will see.
How much would you bet that there is one guy in an office processing the suppressors? Just think about it, at a time were only a few people would even apply for a suppressor then all of a sudden people realize how efficient they would be and more access to be able to order them as well as more varieties of silencers available! One guy working his ass off trying to go through all the paperwork and checking every dotted i and every crossed T? Wait! This is the Government! It takes twelve men to screw in a lightbulb and they have to find the data and the information about the lightbulb before they hire someone to change it for them!
