My wife and I each have an original 15-22. Good rifles Wife loves the adjustable stock. She uses a red dot and I use an illuminated 1-4x20 LVPO.

Nice rifle Bud, (I haz two questions)

  1. Does anyone else have a problem with a Red dot shaking off the mount on these 15-22’s ? I use ‘Loctite’ on the screws yet they still shake loose.

  2. My barrel is standard plain Jane issue, no flash hider or threading for a Can is the barrel hard to change out?

1: Not as of yet, but only a couple hundred through it with this sight

2: That’s even an option? Did you get a California gun?

Don’t know where she came from. (Don’t even remember where or who I bought her). Just one day appeared with the herd and was adopted into the fold. Always missed the ‘finished’ look with a Flash hider (or Can nowadays). Will get her sorted eventually when extra cash becomes available.

There are threaded adapters that actually work.

Midway and several other suppliers have 25 round mags available.

Palmetto runs “Daily deals”. The rifle was likely discounted even further than the sale price for 24 hours as a “daily deal”
