Shotgun or pistol for home defense?

Currently on the ready is my handheld Taurus, S&W MP and just recently purchased a Mossberg Shockwave. Where do I beginšŸ¤”

Check out this thread, @Jovan:

As far as where to being, training and practice, then practice and training

Do you have specific questions as far as what youā€™re tips looking for?

In my opinion both would be a good idea.

There is no one right answer.
What distance is the engagement happening?
How close are your neighbors?
How many attackers?
What do you practice with more?
What are you more comfortable with?
Which one has ammo?
Those all need to be answered, & most answers change over time.

If you have a EDC HANDGUN do you take your shotgun with you or lock it a gun safe ? :us::us:

Secured FULLY during daytime around small children. Secured but close to my bedside readily available at night, Shockwave on one side; 2 handguns on other. All loaded. Just looking for a general plan to have in place and these are great comments. Thank you.:white_heart::blue_heart:
