Earlier this week, a Central Division deputy made what started as a routine traffic stop. During the stop, the deputy identified the vehicle’s passenger as Adrian Sykes, who was already out on bond for a prior firearms charge.
A search of the vehicle uncovered an unregistered assault rifle equipped with a fully loaded extended magazine. Sykes was taken into custody and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail on multiple felony charges. Shortly after the arrest, Sykes posted bond once again and is expected to appear in court later this afternoon.
YES!!! EXACTLY!!!
Unlike Sykes, if one of us had forgotten we had a 15 round 9mm mag. but had left the gun home: rest assured they’d be reopening Alcatraz to lock our butts up for life.
