I am not going to post here everything about what I do or do not carry; I will post very little about my strengths and weaknesses. That is all intentional.
That is precisely the problem. Why does one carry a lethal weapon, if to use it in “a non-lethal way?” How does the target know the difference? How does a jury know the difference? I will always discourage someone from drawing a lethal weapon if that lethal weapon is not justified.

That would never be my question. I would never use a firearm for self-defense unless it was the last and only option. You make it sound like we are here and have firearms because we want to kill people. Your attitude towards us is highly negative and trying to paint us in a bad light, even though we are all telling you that is 100% false and exactly the opposite of our beliefs and intents.
You honestly believe that you would sleep well knowing you killed someone, regardless of whether you believed it to be “justified”? And you are foolish enough to believe your jury will exonerate you because you believe you were justified in unintentionally killing someone with “rubber” bullets?
And if they are just 300lb muscle-bound freaks or just younger and stronger, you would fight “fair” and not use a firearm to defend yourself, even when they are intent on great bodily harm or killing you? Your comments are such bs, with you righteous attitude.
You state you are willing to kill people, but you want to feel good about doing so. You are the person that anti-rights people are against, not us. We do not seek to kill anyone, neither would we feel good about someone dying, as that is not the intent of self-defense. Neutralize the threat is the intent of self-defense. A firearm, as it is a lethal weapon, is the last resort, we take our personal responsibility very seriously, which is why we are here.
Your motivation for your personal slights and insults towards us is questionable. Self-defense is not about killing anyone, it is solely about avoiding or stopping the threat. If we can avoid or de-escalate that is always the best option. When there is no other choice left, using a firearm to neutralize the threat is then the only option. Again, we are not seeking to kill, but to stop the threat. You to want to kill and feel justified; that does not seem rational, and you are trying to project your sociopathy on to us.

Now that is funny. A Liberal, as in one that believes in freedom and liberty, or do you mean a Socialist Democrat? I did not twist your words. Your question about being able to sleep at night after killing someone certainly implies that you would feel justified in killing that person. Why else would you be able to “sleep at night” after killing someone?
What makes you a bad person is your demeaning and righteous attitude toward the rest of us. Implying I am a Liberal, I am sure was not a term of endearment. Your posts have been highly critical and negative towards people you do not even know.
You should not only read, but understand the words and ideas, in your Bible. Then re-read your posts. You can believe you are right in unintentionally killing someone with rubber bullets, but I would never feel that way, and I seriously doubt a jury would either. If you had a less-lethal option, but pulled a gun and killed someone, clearly the lethal option was not justified, even if it was “only” rubber bullets.
When you believe you have moral & intellectual superiority it’s hard to know when to stop.

That’s my point about the warning shot. It doesn’t matter what the projectile is, discharging the firearm is use of deadly force.
Now, for some, they might be prepared to injure someone. They would be under the belief that just injuring them to stop the danger is what they can live with. Knowing that their actions will most likely end the life of another, even an attacker, is more than they can stomach.

There’s a consistent theme here: If you’re going to use lethal force, use lethal force. If you’re going to call someone out, own up to your words.
