I never knew what windage and elevation were. Went to an outdoor range, discovered my scope was no longer in an accurate setting. I almost took it to a gun smith, but at the last second - figured out how to adjust for left/right, up/down. Targets with the number 8 on it are now my favorite targets. Makes me feel zeroed in.

Now I need to get off my _ _ _ , and see the eye doctor.

Range and caliber?

Nice shooting regardless!

I went for vacation for 2 weeks… no firearm in my hands for 15 days. Once I came back I started dry firing every day for 15 minutes. It felt great… until I drove to my local Range today…

:grimacing:

:scream:

I wasn’t able to do nice smiley face… instead.. I created a monster.

7 - 8 - 9 → I was zeroing my RMR.. of course battery died when I was on vacation. :joy:

I am high and dry. All the flooding is around the river basins, and the roads that run along the rivers are eroding away. we also avoided any power outages too. All around there is flooded roads that are closed even the freeway that is near us is closed.

At the range they were warning us that if the power goes out, they will be right in to assist us. I responded, No light training, cool.

I started thinking seriously about become Rifle Instructor. It will be my protest against IL semi-auto rifles ban.

First step done. Basic Rifle Shooting Course completed.

10 rounds from 45 feet ( 1 miss - red circle)
76 rounds from 80 feet ( 3 misses - green circle)

Total: 86 rds, accuracy = 95.3%

I’m considering this as a fairly good result, considering my lack of rifle knowledge and shooting skills.
I see I have to work on my stance. Most of 80ft rounds landed to the left.

Still have 4 weeks for practice before the qualification and exam.

:crossed_fingers:

The challenging part of this is shooting somebody’s rifle :grimacing:

I am going to show some recent targets so that you (my) Brothers, can be amused with my “skills.”

As a bit of a background, I have an advanced muscular “disorder” which has caused me distress during the past year due to effect on my accuracy. However, new medication seems to have helped me. I am incredibly happy with these recent results!

First 10 rounds, 9mm S&B 147gr with Alpha Foxtrot Romulus @ 10 yards:

You are good at 10 yards :ok_hand:

And it looks like heavier bullets serve you better.
