To be fair, the wrong spots on the target break white so that hair was dangerous. Kinda limped the wrist and hit her hand though…
My arm is still healing from my sprained elbow and brused radial nerve, I could definitely feel where it needs to build more strength after a box of ammo…
Be careful with that nerve. I didn’t take a doctor’s advice concerning damage to my left hand, and now the fingers don’t work so well…turns out they almost know what they’re talking about sometimes. As far as hitting her hand, I’m surprised she didn’t jump off the target and hit you with the “I just paid $100 for these nails!!!”
If I got that reaction, I might just say, she is infected and deal with the new threat…
The nerve is doing good, I returned to work 4 months after the injury instead of the 6 months they said I would be out (did over 400hrs of PTO on my own time plus theirs)… Clean bill of health and full recovery expected, but its going to take time to get all my previous strength back
First time shooting the M18. Not the best shooting I’ve ever done, but not the worst either, I suppose. It’s been a rough week/weekends, so I was expecting worse lol
Thank you I have been shooting the x-FIVE Legion the last few trips, and figured I’d try some firearms I haven’t used yet. The m17, M18, and pdp were today. So far the x-FIVE is the smoothest. I really like the M18, but I think I’ll need to slow down a hair the next time I shoot it. I may be acquiring a 320 Axg Scorpion with Romeo one pro tomorrow. I’m excited for that one!
I’ve been coming around to them lol. I haven’t shot one recently that I haven’t liked. I haven’t shot a 226 SAO, but we have one at the shop I’ve been eyeing. I finally shot the da/sa, and while it’s a nice shooter, I’m partial to sa and striker.
I consider myself “SAO shooter”. This is what I shoot the most and feel safest with.
It was a surprise for me how nicely, easy and accurate that P229 shot. I couldn’t believe I told to myself I would prefer carrying this one instead of any 1911. It is still not Staccato, nor SFT9 / SFX9… but close to them.
Classic 1911 is a great handgun… but I must admit it is obsolete, like “T-800 model 101”.
I had an opportunity to shoot the rival SFX recently. IMO, the x-FIVE with the 12lb spring is a smoother piece… not that there’s anything wrong with the SFX, and the price point is less painful… I guess I did get bit by the big
