That scene was hilarious!
YES! it absolutely was! ( it was a true Diet Coke blowing through the nose event for me (very Memorable and messy!) And thanks for the reminder, I now have something to watch while Amazon wisks my Emergency Care Package (ECP) of SISU–Road to Revenge (gotta love that title huh?), Red Ghost and Ballerina come here tomorrow!
Walt- “what’s wrong with the jukebox?”
Henry- “it’s broken, it only plays Country”
I loved the look on Crystal’s’s face when he said that it was like ‘Whoa Sh!t, I’m in it now!’
Henry Standing Bear: [After Walt shoots the kidnapper, freeing Henry] Nice shot.
Sheriff Walt Longmire: Well, I couldn’t let him take my truck.

(edit it wasn’t Ms. Parkford in the 'Dog Soldier episode it was Crystal Shoemaker)
OK, OK One more ! (I loved this one!)
Henry Standing Bear: I am sorry for what happened to you, Hector.
Hector: Why are you sorry?
Henry Standing Bear: I got you involved in something complicated. I got you killed.
Hector: Nah. I chose a violent line of work, Standing Bear. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Henry Standing Bear: I never thought I would hear you quote Aeschylus.
Hector: Who’s Aeschylus? I heard that in a Lil Wayne song.
Me: Anyone who quotes ‘Aeschylus’ in their films is intelligent writing! (what? I’m not a snob!

“How can you be critical of Joe Biden wandering around the White House looking for the soft-serve ice cream machine for four years when you can’t be critical of this?”
- Tennessee Republican Rep. Tim Burchett

Thanks for this. Hie’s one of the great minds of our time. I wish more people would listen to his wisdom and put it into practice.
Invitation Evicted
Stone not quarried in a day.
Forty-eight winters of frost,
heaved from black mud of promises—
rotted before harvest.
Every sharp word,
a plumb line.
Every open hand
returned as a fist—
became the mortar.
It rose high.
Thick enough to swallow wind.
Inside, the courtyard grew quiet—
Safe.
Gray, sterile peace.
Then, an anomaly.
A knock,
less like a siege
more like a plea.
Two, three silhouettes
standing within fog,
wielding faint lanterns,
smelling of salt, woodsmoke.
Iron hinges, stiff from disuse,
screamed as they parted.
Just a crack—
warmth quietly spills
across the threshold.
Lanterns—
mirrors.
Reflections—
old hunger.
Within a dozen moons—
heels dig into soft earth.
Fingers prying foundation stones,
looking for the vault,
measuring remains,
carried away in sacks.
Familiar cold
crept through the hallways—
the heavy,
suffocating scent—
scaffolding,
another’s climb.
No shouting.
Click—
the latch.
Silent eviction,
cleaved—
Absolute.
Pushed back
into the fog,
belongings tossed over the parapet
chased them.
Now, the weld is permanent.
Acetylene and spite
melt the seam shut
No doors remain.
Not even a peephole.
Moss takes the exterior.
World believes it a mountain—
Lay down my pen.
Fingers calloused by masonry.
Ink on this page,
A sole window remains—
I close it.

That’s a perfect description.
Perspective!
The purpose of a gun is to kill.
The purpose of a gun is to protect.
The purpose of a gun is to gather food, hunting.
The purpose of a gun is for sports shooting.
The purpose of a gun is to commit a crime.
The purpose of a gun depends upon the intent of the individual. The purpose of a gun has multiple uses and like fire it can be good and useful, or it can be dangerous.

Is the site broken? I’ve posted a few things and when I look later, the things I was responding to are no longer there.
