Nice. I mainly buy from Costco and on some occasions when I chance upon Asian grocery stores.
Why did I hate kimchi? It shocked me that it’s cold instead of the usual hot veggies from stir fry or stew.
I was reintroduced to kimchi when family went to a Korean restaurant where “customers sit at tables equipped with built-in grills to cook their own marinated meats (like kalbi short ribs and bulgogi).”
At least twice a week, lunch at work is beef or pork with kimchi.

There are a number of these type restaurants here in the valley. We find the smaller joints aka “mom/pop”, tend to have more traditional flavors that I grew up with. Plus, they do all the cooking. 
On a side note, making your own kimchi isn’t as difficult as most think.
We love the green leaf kimchi they have during the fall season, it’s so good!
