:smiling_face_with_tear: No, she does not like guns, but does not bother her for me to own any (Military background, as well her past deceased husband-Vietnam Hero) and her Retired Army son whom we go out to the range once in a while, including my son and three of my grandsons.

I have the HK VP9SK, also a couple Ruger compacts which combined cost one VP9.

What does your son have in mind? Both brands are ok in my book.

I agree with the let him test a few and see how he feels about them before purchasing especially if he wants it to be an everyday carry
