Psychology behind concealed carry

We’ve followed a few threads on this very site that covered peoples journey from never owned a gun to damn good with a gun, I could name a name but I won’t. Seems every one of them had to traverse some of the things covered in the article. We all had a different journey but in the end, to me, it’s not only about feeling safe it’s about actually, physically, mentally, educationally doing stuff to BE SAFE.

A weapon is useless if you don’t have the knowledge required to use it .Do not carry a weapon if you are unwilling to use it.

I can’t really speak to the psychology of feeling safe, so much as I can speak to being a protector. Due to my life experiences, I feel a need to be the Good Shepherd. My formative years were rough, and when I say rough, I mean rough. Once I gained the ability to be my own First Responder, I extended that protection to include people in my environment be they friend, family, or random_001.

I despise bullies, and people who victimize the innocent. I don’t think I’m special in that mindset. I think there are far more people out there that feel that way.

If you have needed a weapon and not had one, you will never be without one again.
