Primary Arms RS-01 red dot review

Hey all - a couple of weeks ago, I acquired a Primary Arms RS-01 red dot sight for my Canik TP9SFX.

*$199.99
*Docter/Noblex footprint. I used the #1 adapter plate that came with my Canik.
*1.07 oz.
*Wakes up automatically when moved
*Side battery door makes it easy to swap batteries without removing the sight.

The sight was pretty easy to sight in at 10 yards. After about 500 rounds, absolutely no issues at all. It makes target acquisition and aim so simple, it almost doesn’t seem fair! Plus, now I know any mistakes are on ME not the equipment.

At the under $200 (barely) price point, this seems like a nice little sight. I like it!!

Thanks for the real world feedback. Primary Arms tends to make inexpensive but still reliable optics, and they have legitimate customer service and warranties as well (kind of like Vortex in my mind, in a way).

I know these are new so there isn’t much real world out there on them yet, but my suspicion is that it will almost entirely be feedback like yours.
