Police release body cam video of road-rage shooting that killed 11-year-old

Have gun, will travel—and be responsible, not an a-hole like this fella who’s looking at life behind bars.

The incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 14, when Tyler Johns, 22, allegedly shot and killed Dominguez, who was sitting in his father’s vehicle on the way to school. “My kid is dead,” Ayala Valente, Dominguez’s father, told the arriving LVMPD officer.

**Johns further confessed, “It’s 100% my fault, I shot at him. I didn’t know that he had a kid in the car.”**

The 21-year-old said he feared for his life? How did this lead to a road rage? What happened to have him feel threatened? I have a lot of questions about this.

Remember folks, if you are in a vehicle and you are going down the freeway that you are in a deadly weapon and the last thing, the very last thing you should ever do is use a gun.

There is no more courtesy behind the wheel anymore. Don’t let ‘em get in front of you even if a driver is signaling to get into a lane, cutting off people, driving erratically in and out of traffic endangering others, speeding, flipping off, anger, tempers flaring, turning into a chaotic road-rage with guns flaring :man_facepalming: unbelievable, and it’s becoming more and more of a way of life on our highways and byways all across AMERICA from the morning rush hour to evening rush hour!!!

Lately, and I mean the past year at least, driving the 6 lane road to and through the business district of our town has become like a “Wack a Mole” game. You have to keep your eyes moving in all directions. Honestly, 8 out of 10 times we take this trip something/someone crazy creates havoc. We live in central Florida if that explains it.

I don’t envy you. I will do anything and everything to avoid I-4 and everything near it, at all costs.

I 4 is the worst, because it goes through one of the most populated areas of the state, is a major commuter route, AND passes directly through the heart of probably the biggest single family tourist spot in the world. It’s full of stressed out, confused, lost families in rental cars while locals try to get to work on time and retirees just try to get someplace, all while being jammed up with more big rigs (probably being driven by someone who doesn’t speak English with a CDL from CA) using it as a link between I-95 and I-75.

Pure hell. No wonder people lose their minds. Good luck out there.

Yep, Tampa area traffic is horrible. The whole metro area, from Sarasota County all the way to Pasco.

Now even Ocala is bad, and it’s not even a big city.

The only big North FL city that doesn’t seem to get horrible traffic is Jacksonville. You can still get across the whole metro area in under an hour, even during most commuter times.

I thought Bay Area, Stockton and Sacramento drivers in California were the worst until I drove in Orlando and surrounding areas.

I cannot see how that is possible
