Podcast Listener?

I’ve seen the topic Youtube - Favorite Content Creators but nothing specific for Podcast listeners. A few subscribed to (apple) are Gun Talk, Concealed Carry Podcast, Order of Man, Survivalist Prepper, and Wasted Ammo. Any other members listen to podcast?

Before COVID, i used to burn through tons of podcasts on my drive to work.

  • Civilian Carry Radio - Firearms Radio Network
mostly interviews with trainers, pro shooters. Long episodes
  • Ballistic Radio
mostly interviews with trainers, pro shooters, topics are self defense, shooting better. Short episodes
  • The American Warrior Show
mostly interviews with trainers, pro shooters, topics are self defense, shooting better, mindset, fitness, medical, survival. “American Warrior” sums up nicely
  • Jocko Podcast
Great interviews with really great people (lots of different types, but a lot of MIL)
  • Jack Carr - Danger Close
interviews with a bunch of interesting people. Jack Carr himself is an author and former SEAL
  • Vigilance Elite
The host is very dry, so you may or may not like the style. His interviews with Ed Calderon are fantastic.

I only listen when I’m doing yard work so I have a handful:

• That’s The Way I Heard It by Mike Rowe
• Truth for Life with Alistair Begg
• Renewing Your Mind with R. C. Sproul
• The Ben Shapiro Show
• Grace To You with John MacArthur

I listen to a lot of podcasts sometimes at work but often on my long commutes to work. I really don’t listen to much in the way of self defense podcasts. Tried a couple awhile ago that just didn’t hold my interest. Should probably try some more. Mostly I listen to history and true crime/mystery podcasts.

You have to really be into history for some of the stuff I listen to. One of my favorite podcasters is Dan Carlin. He does Hardcore History, Hardcore History Addendum, and the Common Sense podcast. Like me he sometimes refers to himself as a Progressive Libertarian so he tends to look at issues from all sides and has opinions that everyone can agree and disagree with at the same time;)

A few of the others I follow:
American History Tellers
Criminal
Revisionist History
Cautionary Tales
The Way I Heard It (as @BeanCounter mentioned)
Deep Cover the drug wars
Serial (the first season was the best)
Sword and Scale (I don’t like the host but the stories are usually worth listening to)

I will second what Harvey said about the last one, Vigilance Elite, Shawn is a bit dry but crazy respect for him and his background. He also posts his stuff on YouTube if interested. And, everyone, should check out his interviews with Ed Calderon. That guy puts a whole new perspective on border issues, the riots, etc.
