Nope, not even the “Iron Dome” (interesting aside, we saw how all that worked out for the Israelis! Lol! Sh#tshow!).
No. There’s nothing to combat Oreshnik/Hazel with. There is literally nowhere in this world Oreshnik cannot reach. And Oreshnik cannot be stopped. As we have seen. (Actually, Oreshnik in the motion picture is an intermediate missile with a limited range as compared to the long range intercontinental ballistic missiles Russia has, but it’s the same type of missile and does the same thing. The long range missiles and Oreshnik can also be fitted with nuclear warheads. Don’t know if they have a different name for the long range missiles or if they just call them “ICBM”).
We are in fact sitting ducks. The Russian Federation in its entirety is right now, as I write this, on their highest military alert achievable and are sitting and waiting to take orders and flip switches and push buttons and click computers and end the world as we know it.
We are as close to nuclear war right now than we have ever been.
All we have to do to stop it is: Stop. What. We’re. Doing. To. Russia.
That’s it.
Whatever the rest of the world does, Russia does not care one bit. But Russia wants to be left alone to, y’know, be Russian.
I advise Washington District of Cockroaches to do just that.

By the way, the first sighting of Oreshnik in world history proves Russia is not in fact out to get anyone, not Ukraine, not USA, not Western Europe, not old USSR territories – not anyone.
As they have demonstrated with Oreshnik, if they wanted to level Ukraine and take it – well, no problem. What does anyone think they’re going to do about it?
But they haven’t done that, have they?
If they wanted, they could wash the entire Eastern Seaboard of the US into the Atlantic – and no one would know who did it nor how it was done.

My opinion on this matter is simple;
1: If Russia could just march into Ukraine and take what they want,… why after two and a half years haven’t they done just that?
2: Russia has “recruiters” pulling single men off the street and conscripting them to the front line…
why, if their fighting forces are so superior to the meager might of Ukraine, is that even necessary?
2B: Russia is also pulling convicts out of prisons to bolster their frontline.
Again, if they’re soo mighty,… why?
3: Putin has turned to North Korea to bolster his weapons and troops. Is Russia sooo mighty that they simply think they can buy troops with oil?
And again, if their war machine is soo well built, why do they need to buy troops to defeat the likes of Ukraine?
4: yes, the missiles came in hard and fast! They even succeeded in defeating Ukraines non existent air defense!!!

The conventional warheads though left a lot to be desired, so too did the weapons accuracy, inflicting minimal damage combined.
Showing his hand like that as a saber rattle of the worst kind.
Not only did he show the world probably his only secret hand, but he showed how completely flaccid it is in practice.
Sure, he could arm them with nuclear warheads,… BUT does M.A.D. Mean anything to you?
As for the speed, frankly, China is leading in hypersonic weapons, and the US has been working on our own (and defense against) for well over a decade…. And that’s just the stuff that’s been declassified.
Also, about China, they have already stated that if Putin does press the big RED button,… they will wash their hands of Russia in an attempt to save their own country from being turned into a vitrified sheet of glass.

While I believe the U.S. military industrial complex and DC kleptocrat critters are significant part of problem, they are not 100% the problem. Countless other nations will be vying for hegemonic control once the American empire finally falls. Some of them will likely prove far less pleasant than the current global regime.
I think the corrupt Russian oligarchy would be more than happy to regain control of the former USSR territories if they could. But their system is every bit as corrupt and broken as ours, if not more so.

Hypersonic missles are not impossible to intercept. Being extremely fast makes your response time shorter, but on the plus side also makes the incoming missle less maneuverable. A Patriot missle battery or Aegis equipped guided missle cruiser should be able to do the job. I am not sure about the capabilites of the IDF Iron Dome system.

The IDF Iron Dome myth was destryoed long ago and even if it hadn’t been, it is useless against the hypersonic Russian missiles, as we have already seen. Iran can strike inside Israel any time they wish – and there’s nothing Israel can do about it.
Except go nuclear.

I think the best thing America can do right now in this highly dangerous moment in our history is to listen to Donald Trump.

What’s really funny about the missle launch is how it scared the bejeezus out of Zelensky, who then berated his masters for having left him defenseless, hanging out there in the breeze with that big, mean bear.
He’ll snort a few lines and go back to counting all that American cash he scammed off the American taxpaying idiots to make him feel better.
His masters aren’t quite done with Zelensky just yet. But when they are, they pop a couple of slugs into his head and install another idiot.
