I may have recently found a place within 2 hours of home that offers a class monthly. We live in small town America.
However, in my many hours of searching I come to the conclusion that it might be nice just to have a one-stop shop on this platform. Or somewhere … Is there a one stop shop anywhere?
Independent of what state I/we live in can I get on a certain web page and find a CCW permit class near me? I have struggled many hours searching.
Each state has a different process of getting a CCW permit. Some states you just apply, some states you take a class then do a qualifying shoot to get your permit. Some places require you to take a written test after a class There are places that you have to apply for the permit then they do the background and if you are clear then you get an appointment to take a written test then a competency test then they will mail you your permit and it can take 6 weeks to 3 months to complete everything before you receive it. In some states you just have the right to bear arms and carry concealed, imagine that!
From the main page of the USCCA site, you can select TRAINING from the drop-down menu, then select CCW classes and the desired location.

Yes. It’s called Google. Just enter "CCW training near (insert zip or city+state). I tried it on 12 random locations and got multiple hits each time. Note: “near” may be subjective.
Wow you all are are so kind. Keep up the good work of being jerks. It’s not that easy. I can’t get the app to function that way. And I have googled many times with zero responses. And it’s an issue on my end, I know this, because I’m an hour to any city of any size. But I know that and I use that information in the process.

I think I had a similar experience. For me, I wanted CCW permits from four states, because I was close to a large city with several large firearm shops, they held a wide array of classes for those particular four states. Therefore it was a one stop shop, class, forms, finger printing, and photos. It sure made the “red tape” a lot easier.
