This shows Dante was prone to bad decision making. It still doesn’t change the lack of training/mistakes made by the officer.
I hope the family that filed suit gets every dime, but, the two are unrelated.

I’m pretty sure that I’m alone in this, but I think she should get a medal, her retirement, and police protection.

Hennepin County Judge Regina Chu issued the sentence of 24 months on Friday, Feb. 18, to Potter, a former police officer in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center. With this sentencing, the 49-year-old will serve 16 months in a prison facility and the remaining ten months on supervised release.
