NYC's Mayor to Limit Amount of Meat People Can Eat

After seeing Dylan Mulvaney on a Bud Lite can and… after seeing the recent North Face Ad, there is nothing that the Left can do that will surprise me - ever. My only concern is that the number of NY’rs leaving NYC will increase exponentially bringing their lifestyles and ideals to the decent rural communities across this country. God help us.

Pandemic of the uncivilized! How do we flatten that curve?
Seriously time for states to either split or merge!

Create a FOID card with an expiration date and a list of the qualified states to move to in that period of time. Also limit the size of the moving van and the number of miles it can travel.

I just saw a news article this morning highlighting people (all Democrats) who are moving OUT of Florida because it has become too conservative here. Good. Bye bye.

I saw a bunper sticker once here in FL. It said “I-95 North: Use it.”

As we like to say here: don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

Sorry, if you’re moving to Texas or Florida, you’re going to need a visa and a green card and an application for asylum. Upon entering these free countries, mugshots, fingerprints and DNA taken and an oath of allegiance will be required!
All others arriving illegally should be treated as illegal and deported on sight! What, we’re not playing games anymore!
Freedom will cost you, your stupidity!

There is currently a movement for Oregon’s eastern counties to join Idaho. It would make Idaho the size of Montana.

Part of me says good, let’s draw the lines so people can get the representation they want.

The other part of me says that if we have to gerrymander even our state borders just to keep from killing each other, we’re screwed. I miss the days when people tried to work together, even when they disagreed with each other.

Funny, I just read about that today. As someone who grew up in Western NY, I can 100% relate to the people of East Oregon. The rural countryside of WNY, and the people who live there, could not be more opposite to “Downstate” and the megalopolis that insists on imposing their will on the whole state. No matter how well the people of rural NY get out the vote, they’re always outnumbered.

As for Florida, well its just getting so crowded now I’m happy to see people leaving, regardless of their political views. 15 years ago my county had 300,000 people. Now it has 600,000, and it’s expected to go past a million in about 3 years. That’s too many, too fast. If the Democrats want to leave, all the better. I don’t see where they’ve done much for the state, anyway. The only thing I thought they had going for them for a long time was protection of the environment, but DeSantis proved that protecting the natural environment is good business, and he did more for the Everglades than any Democrat ever.

I 100% miss those days of working together, too. All my life I’ve been politically independent, believing that both sides had good and bad, and I tried to pick candidates that represented the best of each side. Today I actually just changed my voter registration to R. There’s nothing left on the left to like at all, in my opinion, and I feel like being “independent” is really condoning people and actions that are destroying the fabric of our country. I’ve actuallly felt this way for several years, just never got around to formally making the switch. Some recent news stories prompted my action. I think the days of working togeter are over, and we’re in for a long period of animosity and difficulty as we decide where we’re going as a country.

Sorry, I hope I didn’t get the thread too off track.

Don’t be sorry Brother. I have said this many times here, topics and threads go where they go, sometimes you have to take a side road.
Just don’t be like the guy who got upset about salt.

OK, maybe I missed something here. Are these threads really supposed to stay on a single topic? That actually sounds boring.

Actually, eating more vegetables will cause more flatulence, precisely why herbivores have so much gas. Maybe the solution is to feed herbivores meat, so they produce less gas emmisions.

Which is why we need to eat them - to reduce their population and save our planet. :sunglasses:
