Thanks for the welcome. I guess there are a lot of Daves in USCCA ? 1657? Anyways i stumbled in here as i was chasing a rabbit down a hole.
As a side, i went to my first Gun Show in at least 10 years and first one in N. Carolina. It was a great experience but my my how the prices are through the roof.
I found a very good deal on a box of ammo but add $12 for admission and not so good lol. I was just on a scouting mission so no big deal. My conclusions are there are a few good deals on firearms but you have to look real hard.
In the end i really just determined how much my guns are worth.

btw, it is starting to get cooler here at night and I noticed my wife taking the space heater out of the garage and also the insulated sleeping bag. I’m left with a blue tarp and an oil lantern. Thank y’all for your support!!

As a friend I can give a single advice. Once you have a tarp and lantern, what you need is this 
to be still a happy man !

Boy that would be nice but sadly I don’t think that’s on the approved list of rations my wife has for me.
