If they can limit the number of guns you can own, they can make that number 0 as well. Their desire for that number to be 0 is well known and not in dispute.
If you knew someone didn’t want you breathing any more, would you let them start limiting the number of breaths you could have?

You do know you exhale that evil carbon dioxide gas. So in the interest of saving the child… opps the rain forest they very well could limit how many times you exhale per day.
